Almost certainly interference from above again. When it happens with one manager you can perhaps think the manager is making poor decisions. But pretty clear these decisions are being forced on them.

Yeah this was my takeaway too, not as negative as everyone else. Or the guy who wants to send Acheampong to the glue factor.

Not much to say. Played really well first half, but 3 massive individual errors cost us. Caicedo with a stupid challenge (not the first time, won't be the last), Josh with whatever that was, clearly not ready for the PL despite all the praise from the manager, and Cole with miss of the season.

We've a team that goes to sleep when the game isn't won and also falls to pieces with setbacks. The difference between if the setback happens before half time and after is always telling.

These players are supposed to be professionals, they should have a semblance of discipline and not need mummy to tell them it's going to be ok for them to get their heads back in the game.

Marin had 1 goal in 6 league games for us, which is actually a better return than Neto’s 9 goals in 61 league games.

So disappointing to drop points after being so in control for 60 minutes. We didn't look in any danger until that rush of blood from Caicedo and that changed the game.

But so many positives. Best football I have seen us play for a long time with Santos instrumental in most things. So refreshing to see so many forward passes rather than the dull snooze fest Maresca-Ball that sucked the life out of you.

Gutted Cole didn't put away what would have been a late winner but that's football.

We are sell to buy and has been mentioned elsewhere there is such a massive drop off to the squad players, who is going to buy them at the ridiculous values our sh*t SDs value these at.

The only purchases I can see happening will be after first team players are sold

Obviously there are numerous issues that need addressing, but one factor tonight for me was the youthfulness and lack of experience in the side. I think as long as we will not sign anyone over 21, we will be at risk of panicking and imploding as we did tonight.

One slight positive is that we did manage to regain some composure and avoid conceding 3 or 4 and how we didn’t win in the end, only Cole Palmer knows.
