We're holding our own against the holders on their patch. We have opened them up on numerous occasions. It's a proper contest and I'm confident we will get more chances.

And because we cannot play vertically we end up playing a recycling pattern 25 yards from our own goal. One bad pass and they are immediately in on goal.

So unlucky, we were the better side so far I think.

Attack needs to get their sh*t together and as a collective players need to be running back and marking bodies.

You’d think we were playing Wrexham and not treble winners with the defensive collective effort we’ve seen.

Because PSG press so much, it's always going to leave gaps, but our players play it so slow out of the back and literally just walk into mistakes. Most of our best bits comes from playing through their midfield press, but our defenders and keeper can't move the ball quick enough to exploit it enough. Saying that though, we should have scored 2 goals in this game AT LEAST. Neto should have scored from that James cross early on. It was hit too far ahead of Pedro, but Neto didn't want to put his body on the line to force a goal. Palmer right before their goal should have been a goal too.

Bayern are the one side that we wouldn’t be able to cope with. I’d fancy us in a one off game against everyone other than them.

Playing out from the back with Jorgensen or Sanchez being involved is plain stupid too. Several near misses, and not the first game in which either of them give the ball away.

Cole looks so ordinary. He doesn’t like being man marked and Neves is doing a decent job on him so far.

So far I don't think there is an English club with a positive result in this round, is there? All well and good having the most competitive league in European football, but here we are again at the fag end of the season with tired, injury hit squads.

Definitely. Also playing out the back with Fofana and Chalobah as CB is suicidal. Only way this style works is if you have CBs that are athletic, good defensively and be perfect on the ball

Also the only player that can make the assist. Palmer isn't effective right now, JP doesn't seem as sharp and Neto is Neto

There have been some great throw-in/goal kick calls in this game which were not at all obvious.
