The Nice Guys - New comedy-action-noir from Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) about a couple of sleazy private eyes (played by Ryan Gosling and a rotund Russell Crowe) hired to track down a missing girl in 1970s Los Angeles. Very entertaining, the script is great and very funny (as you'd expect from Black), and Gosling and Crowe have some good chemistry.

The Devils Rejects.

Follow up to Rob Zombies first film House of 1000 corpses.

Not for the faint hearted and pretty graphic/messed up but it's a cult favourite in the horror genre.

I only wished his Halloween reboot was as well made as these two films.

Me Before You.  Ok, reasonably diverting and amusing in places but also a bit .... don't really know what... not exactly shallow but maybe simplistic.  I dunno, just didn't think it was great.  Some of my friends enjoyed it more than I.

Saw the new independence day today..... Knew going into it that it would probably be bad but was hoping for so bad that it's good. No. It was just complete and utter sh*t from start to finish. I say this a lot but it was probably one of the worst films I've ever seen, definitely worst sequel.

I saw it too today Jack and I agree with the majority of your review apart from the last three words. I urge you to see London Has Fallen and then that last sentence will need 'the second to' inserted into it. It's the worst film I've ever seen and I'm still not over it!

I watched the first one the other night for nostalgia and forgot how ridiculously cheesy it was.

I knew when they didn't get Will Smith back it would flop. It's a shame because it had potential.

There seems to be a real lack of decent quality new films out on Kodi which is annoying.

Just saw The Hollow Man. Lived up to its name; interesting premise which wasn't really taken anywhere and has been done better elsewhere. I thought it was a waste of a fairly decent cast. Unfortunately when your film relies so heavily on special effects (although admittedly they were pretty well done) it has a shelf life of about ten minutes.

What I see in the cinema is largely dictated by the age of my kids so recently it was

Independence Day - utter sh*te

Now You See Me Two - also garbage

Secret Life of Pets - mildly entertaining but basically a remake of Toy Story with animals.

Alice Through the Looking Glass - I a tally enjoyed that even though it isn't really the original story. It is just loosely based on it.

The Erotic Adventures of Hercules... well thought it was Disney...

Yeah, they make you go. sure they do.

Ab Fab The Movie, 6/10 - it's not going to win an Oscar but I found it hilarious in places and it really took me back to when I was 10 and used to stay up to watch it.

The Legend of Tarzan - 7/10. Bit slow in places and whilst I've never liked flashing back & forward sequences it worked in this instance. As usual Christoph Waltz steals the show for me.

Green Room - A very decent survival-horror film about a punk band who play a gig in a remote club in rural Oregon for a bunch of neo-nazi skinheads. Obviously it all goes tits up and much violence ensues. It's pretty formulaic but is a good example of the genre.

Guardians of the Galaxy: I don't see what the fuss is about. Probably Marvel's worst film, I even enjoyed Ant Man more.

Groot and Rocket were funny and the soundtrack was amazing but that's about it.

My favourite Marvel film.
