April 14, 201610 yr We could be potentially be interested in a few players from Juve - Bonucci, Pogba, Morata - offering Oscar as part of a deal for Pogba, or in a swap deal for Morata could make sense. The list of Serie A players we are linked with is forever growing! Bonucci, Rudiger (on loan I know), Manolas, Nainggalon, Pogba, Pjanic, Icardi, Higuain..
April 14, 201610 yr Apparently we've submitted a £63m bid for Sergio Ramos. £63m for a 30 year old defender? Is it April Fools day? One of my least favourite players. Overrated, dirty, cynical, sent off more times than Mark Dennis. Has to be a complete load of bollox. Rumour was in the Metro, according to the BBC gossip page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/gossip

Rumour was in the Metro, according to the BBC gossip page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/gossip They have to be taking the piss with this if they think anyone is going to believe we'd actually put up that kind of money for him.
April 14, 201610 yr Ramos playing for CFC in the PL He will spend more time suspended than Wilshere does in the treatment room
April 14, 201610 yr Naingolen Pjanic Manolas and a Striker would be a good window for us, Roma fans wouldn't be best pleased though.
April 14, 201610 yr Naingolen Pjanic Manolas and a Striker would be a good window for us, Roma fans wouldn't be best pleased though. Best post i've read in ages, echo those sentiments, which striker though?
April 14, 201610 yr Lukaku, Niaggolan and Manolas or Rudiger would do just nicely. I can't think of any other strikers to play with Diego that would be 'available'
April 14, 201610 yr What about Julian Weigl from Dortmund...young, talented and a great passer of a ball... Edited April 14, 201610 yr by doctorblue
April 14, 201610 yr A striker that would be happy to play second fiddle to Costa but is good enough, will be tough to find one of those!
April 15, 201610 yr Apparently we've submitted a £63m bid for Sergio Ramos. £63m for a 30 year old defender? Is it April Fools day? Pure rumour. How can a first teamer leaves Madrid for a team that won't compete in the Champions League?
April 15, 201610 yr I'd swap Oscar for Morrota at Juventus. I agree, for 35M we be insane not to sell him.I will happily spend that money on Payet.
April 15, 201610 yr Pure rumour. How can a first teamer leaves Madrid for a team that won't compete in the Champions League? The same reason as players still in their prime swap top European leagues for the Chinese league. Money. I don't believe in this particular rumour or even want it to be true, though...

I don't believe in this particular rumour or even want it to be true, though... We won't be playing in the Champions League so I can't see us paying him the sort of crazy money the Chinese could have offered him.
April 15, 201610 yr We won't be playing in the Champions League so I can't see us paying him the sort of crazy money the Chinese could have offered him. I gave you reason why it COULD happen, not that it necessarily will.

April 15, 201610 yr A striker that would be happy to play second fiddle to Costa but is good enough, will be tough to find one of those! Aubemayang (?) would be a great strike partner for Costa
April 15, 201610 yr Aubemayang (?) would be a great strike partner for Costa I think so as well, that pace would open things up for not only Costa but everyone else, especially Hazard. He'll cost an arm and a leg though
April 18, 201610 yr Chelsea are expected to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Javier Pastore, per reports in Tutto Mercato Web (h/t Anthony Chapman of the Sun). http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2633575-chelsea-transfer-news-latest-on-javier-pastore-and-juan-cuadrado-rumours
April 18, 201610 yr From BBC gossip column.... Chelsea will move for Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster, 28, should Belgium international Thibaut Courtois, 23, leave the club. (Mirror) Premier League title-chasers Tottenham have dropped their interest in 19-year-old Fulham striker Moussa Dembele, who was invited by Chelsea to watch their home game against Manchester City at the weekend. (Mail) Chelsea are ready to offer 25-year-old Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann a lucrative deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge. (Mirror)
April 19, 201610 yr I don't see what's wrong with Forster he's a good keeper, personally were Tibo to leave us prefer Butland but Forster would be a good replacement too.
April 19, 201610 yr I don't see what's wrong with Forster he's a good keeper, personally were Tibo to leave us prefer Butland but Forster would be a good replacement too.Me neither, forster before his injury was comfortably England's best keeper and in the top 3 in the league on format. I would be very happy to see us sign him if courtois does leave.
April 19, 201610 yr We won't get Griezmann. Dembele is a weird one because I'm not at all convinced he's any better than Solanke. Dom utterly outshone him in the Youth Cup final two seasons ago but the difference is that Dembele got a chance in the Championship. Again, it's a betrayal of our own youth but what's new? Forster is a decent keeper, but he's not ever going to be close to the heights that Courtois could reach and would be us displaying a lack of ambition. Unless Courtois is determined to leave then we should be planning next season with him in goal, and give him a defence who provide him with some sort of help.

I think that's what many of us mean mate if Courtois wants to leave which I think is very likely in all honesty.
April 19, 201610 yr I think that's what many of us mean mate if Courtois wants to leave which I think is very likely in all honesty. His contract lasts until 2019 so there's no pressure to sell. Forster is a good keeper but Courtois has the potential to be the best in the world. I've moaned about a lack of ambition at this club before but that would be a solid statement by the club that it has no title ambitions because Thibaut is the type of player you build a Conte team around, not sell.
