So, despite all teh guff and waffle so far, we haven't actually signed anyone today?

PEA is flying in for his medical, presumably by hot air balloon, as its nearly 5pm

And we still have to confirm Alonso leaving, plus do something with Kenedy, Batshuayi, Ampadu, Gilmour, Ziyech and hopefully Pulisic. I saw something about Newcastle still wanting Pulisic ... probably the only offer we'll ever get for him ... should be biting both their arms off on that one !

Have we signed Gvardiol, De Jong, Alvarez, Sangare, Auba, Zaha and Neymar yet?

If not i think its time for Todd to sell up and a real owner to come in imo.

We must be running out of squad numbers.

We are not linked with him, however I hope we keep an eye on Sheff Uniteds Sander Berge. Big unit, eye for goal and a key pass. Linked with a few PL and CL sides.

If our midfield continues to have issues, he would be a good option.

I wouldn't mind. Bring in the next former-Genk player 😄

Apparently, we are entering the race for Jude Bellingham

Us and the rest of Europe.  He'll end up at City or Liverpool from the Prem, or he'll remain in Europe with one of the big heads.  TB is dreaming if he thinks he can persuade him to come here if this dross continues throughout the season, because we won't be in the CL let alone any European competition.

We should be going for Barnes at Leicester, they are a sh*tfest at the moment and I'm sure he would love to get away from them.

I like him too. Good eye for goal and a good runner with the ball.

I wonder what Potter would think of him, or Gordon for that matter.

James Justin and keep Azpilicueta on the bench, please.

Harvey Barnes is Anthony Gordon with talent. I think he's a very good player and would be a smart signing along the lines of Damien Duff or Joe Cole.

Barnes, Berge, Alvarez, Sangare, Lavia, Toney, not saying they're all bad players, but have we given up on winning trophies all together?

Hopefully with the new director of football in place we will have a better plan in place rather than the current buying of random players.  Does anyone really believe spending close to £100 million on Lavia and Alvarez is going to win us trophies?  Its so easy now a days in football to flush a hundred million down the toilet, especially the way Boehly is throwing money about.

I'd get used to it.

I would be amazed if Potter falls into the trap of the latest bling bling continental footballer that delivers bu88er all when he gets here.

If Potter had been in charge during the summer i would have put more money on him signing a player like Mee rather than Koulibaly on the basis that he could make him a better footballer in a better system.

The players that you quote look right up Potter's alley (erm possibly not the best phrase) and just taking one of them as an example, Lukaku couldn't even get the ball off of Toney, let alone outscore him.

Don't worry we now have the guy who discovered Haaland, we're saved.

Feels like Liverpool people thought they’d be signing Bellingham last summer or this summer but I’d guess he ultimately ends up at City.
