So we have the cucu and we are keeping Dave, so that could be it regarding CB's right?

De jong? wait until next season when he is ready to move?

Aubameyang?  No. He is a Barcelona problem, best to leave him there.  Not interested. As for Barca nabbing our targets, I'm not shaken up about it. Raphinha is solid but he's not going to set the world alight, Sevilla has always been difficult to deal with, and Dembele, meh. Either way, Barca have a lot of issues to fix, ranging from their finances (Having unpaid wages is never good, nor is being able to register players. On top of that, that Barca squad is a mess to be honest. That is our revenge.

Some of the deadwood.

Chelsea could let any of Werner, Ziyech, Pulisic and CHO leave?

Ziyech moving on is now unlikely apparently.  Might still happen though.

We are still chasing an attacker/striker.

It always makes me wonder why some of these players have such egos. We have openly tried to move Ziyech on this whole window and nobody wants him, because he is not worth the money. You would think that these types of players would pull out all the stops to get more game time, create an impression and get their values up

Posted this in here even though  2 of these players have their own thread now, but this is such a great headline even though its totally Silly Season Stuff

The story makes total sense from Barcelona's point of view. They need to offload all 3 because of the huge wages involved. we should avoid at all costs in my opinion.

Timo Werner, 26, is close to a permanent return to RB Leipzig.

CHO is looking to be loaned to either Leicester, Southampton or Borussia Dortmund.

We will be needing a new striker.

According to Matt Law we are going for one as well. If Timo leaves that is.

BTW this is the first (almost public) crossing with a player that Tuchel has had. Maybe with Lukaku as well...

Are you sure  I thought there were stories about him falling out with players at PSG that eventually led to him leaving.

In Chelsea I mean. He has almost always left a club due to a falling out. With players, or someone working at the club.

Did Matt Law mention which one? Or whom we might be seeking>?

Iirc he left PSG because the person in charge of getting players in kept buying players regardless whether they fit the team or squad. It was certainly untenable at one point.

PSG have been very poorly run in my view but likely a lot better this season, same amount of money as Man C just haven't used it as well. As expected the initial shine on Tuchel has worn off a bit and we are now seeing him at breakfast so to speak. I still like the view but a decent striker who fits the system and lets sterling go back on the wing and do his hazard thing would be a big help. Auba is the only one I can think of. I couldn't help but think even Danny Wellbeck would make us look better which shows how low I have sunk.

Ha ha, that's a brilliant turn of phrase.

I did actually wonder whether Bats was worth another run out. New broom and all that. The boy might be calamitous but he does know where the onion bag is...when he is stood in front of it.

Chelsea have been scouting Doku for some time and they are very interested in signing him. Doku plays as a winger and can operate on both flanks, but largely on the right side. it would probably fall under the category of signing for the future. #CFC (@siphillipssport)

That Phillips bloke is as reliable as a Salisu clearance!

Get him and we win the league for sure. Who's gonna stop us when we have a Sith Lord on our team?

Doku is a great player

I believe he was very overrated and overpriced when he left Belgium. And most of the time in the Ligue1 he has been injured.

He is very explosive, fast and still young. But if I remember well barely made an impact.

Pretty sure his stats of assists and goals will be rather low for an attacking winger.

We already have inefficient wingers that are prone to injuries.
