Oh happy days......

Haven't played a golf game since one of the early Tiger Woods PGA tour games but is there really that much to do?   See ball, hit ball.

 

haha fair point, what I mean is there's loads of tournaments etc to play through.

not impressed with the graphics considering it's next gen only, should be better than that

but the hell with it, it's fallout, day one buy for sure

Anyone else getting the new F1 and Golf games?

 

F1 always good for a career mode and quite excited that this is the first one on next gen so expecting the graphics to be spectacular!

Not a huge fan of golf but always find the career mode on that is worth doing as there's so much to do - and makes a change from me constantly beating my brother at FIFA, get to beat him at Golf instead

 

From what I've seen of both they look good. Think F1 is out at the end of this week (maybe next) and Golf is out next month sometime.

 

Realistically I reckon I will probably only get one of the above, and the new batman game.

Career mode in F1 starts off pretty enjoyable then just drags on for what seems like forever, don't think I've ever completed it.

I'll take quality gameplay over graphics all day long.

If it's anywhere near the standard of the last two games I don't really care about the graphics.

welp,

looks like me holding off getting a next gen console is being completely effed by Arkham and Fallout.  Better finish the couple of games I have left to play on PS3 and then see about a new one.

 

Anyone know if PS3's are even being traded in, or bought anymore?

I'll probably pick up the golf game to add to my never ending collection of sports games lol

I think the graphics are good compared to the last fallout or even Skyrim, for me it looks great, as soon as the release date is announced I'll pre-order it, fallout never fails to deliver hours upon hours of fun.

I acrually only bought fallout 3 because it was cheap years ago or so I thought, turned out it had just been DLC, so had to go out and get the full game!

Witcher update, at level 20 now and on the Island of Skillige. 

 

It's not as densely populated as the earlier areas and there are quite a few satalite islands that you have to sail to if you're to fully explore. 

 

I did just that last night for a quest to get tools for a master blacksmith and there was another quest in the same area too. 

 

Basically ended up fighting sirens and it climax with taking down a giant who was swinging a giant anchor at me. 

 

Nice to get back into combat a bit more... I've got to say side quests are much more fun than the main story which just makes you feel like a dog chasing its' tail.

Ahhhhhh, that sounds great fun. Only level 7 or thereabouts, haven't found the time to sink in the hours. I haven't gone to Novigrad or Skillige yet!

My little one is nearly 4 and loves games on tablets, I can't wait to play co-op games with her. That article is good.

How many hours of gaming time do you get per week? I reckon I get 5-6 per week. It definitely gets harder to spend time doing long sessions. My kid is only one year old so I'm abit behind you.

I only really play games on the weekend nowadays and I don't even have kids! :(

Sports Direct has ruined my life on the PS4, thought once University is done with I go have my luxury weekends but noooooo....
