No, he should not. But unfortunately, as no one will match his wages, he will just see out his contract probably. That's unless he gets pushed out of any contention for a first team spot next year and wants to play more football as he isn't getting any younger.

I really think he should say, I reckon next season Jose could get him back to his best, we may need a complete new midfield to start playing the right balls for him but it's all there.

The problem is that Eto'o and Ba are here and their mere presence intimidates him, as soon as we offload them he'll be back to scoring 60 goals a season.

Stay, he's been prolific for us ever since he joined.

He should go, he should have gone last season when he hit 20 goals for the season and been replaced with a top striker. I really think at times he's a liability to the team and I hope he moves on in the Summer, be it on loan or a sale.

yeah, he runs about a lot....I don't think we paid £50 million for that.

He's hopeless, if he hasn't cost so much he would have been out the door ages ago.

His attitude yesterday was awful, all negative gestures to team mates, pointing to where he wanted the ball then throwing his arms up when it didn't happen.

His overall play was good, but like a few others have mentioned he didn't really offer that much in terms of a goal threat. Now yesterday that was fine and his general play was good. But if we are to accept that Torres the goal threat/Striking option is gone and we are now making the best of his performances in terms of hoping for some assists etc then we may as well play another attacking mid who will likely to it better.

 

I hope the Eto'o injury isn't to bad because he is vital to our season. Even at 33 with a yard of pace clearly down he still looks sharp and has retained that strikers instinct proving he always had a bit more in the locker then raw pace
