There is an agreement in place. I would guess that we are waiting for him to come back off holiday for him to actually sign a contract.

Rumour has it that he's on £175k a week including image rights & probably other bonuses.

We know he can't be earning goal bonuses, if we stopped using his image in adverts could we stop paying that part?

Just trying to get his costs down.

Yeah its a bit of an amateur page masquerading as a good source.

One or two articles every now and again are well done with decent research, but a lot of it is rubbish.

I'd rather they posted little, only when they had something good, and kept it at a high quality.

WAGNH is alright, usually if their sources are less than reputable they are quite honest about it. The Pogba rumours are a good example of that, for the most part they're quite openly admitting that it's wishful thinking, although it's now getting to the point that I wish they'd shut up about it. They have a good understanding of FFP and Premier League squad rules which is quite helpful and are good for Chelsea trivia too.

I'd love for Torres to go abroad, and even better if it's to a club where he might feel a sense of belonging. Again though, they have been honest about the realism of the deal:

There are in other words, many, many barriers in the way of a move actually happening.

Atletico and Monaco are in a bidding war for him, I read. Atletico will offer us 15 million but apparently the board want 20.

A bidding war for Torres, whatever next! Just imagining it makes me giddy :-)

I wouldn't accept anything less than 25.

Are you insane? I'd accept a packet of Doritos if they wanted to take him off our hands. f**k it, even the normal ones instead of the cheesy ones.

I'd accept a bag of Doritios that were discovered in the cushion of a couch, opened, stale, and covered in rat droppings if someone took Torres off our hands.
