Send the wrong striker to Liverpool, paying 175k p/w for Torres, missing out on Kun, Falcao because of the passenger; picking him ahead of Lukaku and Sturridge; offloaded Drogba, Anelka and Kalou; signed all the young attacking talent we can possibly dream off; 50 million down the drain.

Why do people keep saying Ba is a top striker?  He is a very good striker but ffs people talk about him like he is the second coming of the brazilan Ronaldo.  He's better than what we currently have (Then again, so am i)  but Ba is not the man who will lead us to the title anytime soon.

Why isn't he? He has never led the line for a top club with the players we have before so how are you so sure of this? He has scored a hell of a lot of goals for a weak newcastle side so the only way to find out if he is good enough is by giving him a chance!

RDM was sacked because of Torres and his disgusting attitude!!!

We got rid of Didier to give him the # 1 striker tag and he has done f**k all. He does everything a striker shouldn't do - cant score important goals, can't link up play and can't f**king pass.

He will play and Ba will be deployed out wide!!

The sooner Torres and FSW are gone our club will be better!

We should do absolutely anything to offload him in this January window.

 

No exceptions.

 

Get him moved on for nothing if need be, just off the wage bill would be an immense result.

Can people stop saying ba will not play ahead of torres! The whole reason we are signing him is to take the workload of torres. He will get his chances and he will take them whihc will make him the number 1 striker at the club!

He could be a top striker, but until he has proven himself at a big club he isn't.  Playing for Newcastle and playing for Chelsea are different kettles of fish, here he is going to play a lot of games (If FSW) gives him the chances were he will be playing against a team willing to put everyone behind the ball. Hopefully he can adapt and still score the goals.

 

I'm still looking forward to him coming though, he is much more of a threat than Torres.

Its nice to see majority have noe given up with him, I have up halfway through last season.

Hes a passenger, Its basically making our season fall apart 2 years on the bounce now as when none of the attacking players are having a good day, we cant rely on our striker to nick a goal.

The club need to realise this now surely, Yet they will still be 12 months too late even if they do.

Wonder if we could transplant Demba's knees onto Torres and claim our money back on the insurance?

If Demba Ba comes to Chelsea and he's 2nd choice I will be APALLED. The premier league top scorer being benched for the prima donna.
