lighten up ffs, - what's the saying 'sticks and stones will break my bones, names will never hurt me' .  ffs if some people take offence to a bit of fun and banter on here, then join a chess club!

There's a lot of Torres-bashing going on, and I'm not just going to piss into the ocean. No doubt we looked much better with a proper CF leading the line today, and honestly Ba didn't even have a great game - I've seen him play much, much better.

The question, then, is: why has it taken this long for another striker to be played ahead of Torres? We had Sturridge on our books and he was clearly capable of doing the simple things which Ba did today. Frustrating.

There's is a bearded Russian gangster who sits in the stands making sure people stay 'safe' as long as Torres plays. Expect to see Torres back next match.

if Torres had scored those two goals

If my auntie had bollocks she would be my uncle.

Torres has been with us 2 years, Ba 2 minutes.

One has never played alongside these guys before and got 2 goals from open play away from home.

The other has never done that, which begs the question ..

What the f**k are you talking about .. ?

And what part of Torres's shambolic Chelsea career suggests he would have done anything other than drift out wide and wave his hands in the air for Hazard to pass him the ball?

His goals against weak opposition.

As bad as his goal tally is, it would be that part of his shambolic Chelsea career I would refer you to in this instance.

I'm not saying he would have definately scored, I think he has been awful for us as most do but his goals have usually come against weak opposition when we have scored numerous times, much like today.

So for you to declare with such certainty that he 'wouldn't have made the runs' is about as ridiculous as if I were to declare that he definitely would have.

Great start for Ba, hope he gets the knod from now on, I definitely liked what I saw but I do think people should calm down a little, had Torres scored those 2 goals today people would be dismissing the first one completely and saying he should have scored 5.

As said why the f**k are you getting upset with someone calling him a ladyboy or Alice.. Who gives a f**k.

Torres is sh*t it's that simple. He has lost his ability to get away from players in the first 2-3 yards which means he has to try and play his way into scoring which he is incapable of doing because he cannot play football.

He is finished. I take no notice of the fact he has scored 14 goals simply because he goes missing for the majority of those games only to score simple goals when put on a plate.

His all round play is awful. He cannot control a ball, his movement is non existent now and he shows that similar lack of effort a la Berbatov.

He is hindering a top quality midfield because they have no confidence in giving him the ball cause he will f**k up.

He HAS to go no doubt about that. The sooner he goes the sooner FSW will go because he has been bought in to get the 'best' out of him.

He is a liability and after all the support he has had off the fans when he was struggling to put in such lacklustre and effortless displays with no fight or dedication is a slap in the face and one I, as a fan, take personally!!

Get him out and get him out soon.

But Torres only scores once we are 3-0 or so up and the game is won.

despite the fact almost all his goals have come against bottom feeder clubs I can't recall Torres ever scoring the equaliser or breaking the deadlock against weak opposition (Villa aside).

I'm 100% certain he wouldn't have made those runs just as i'm certain big Petr Cech wouldn't have bagged a hatrick if he played - some things just don't happen.

It doesn't matter how poor you think he is playing ffs! That ain't the point I am making. He is still a chelsea player therefore you don't rip the piss out of him at any given opportunity! He plays for the team you claim to support.

He doesn't play for the team!!!!!! How sh*te does he have to be before you realise this???

Its stuff like this that annoys the sh*t out of me.

I would cringe at seeing childish, unfunny stuff like this about Suarez or RVP, let alone about one of our own players. I understand that frustration has been at an alltime high since FSW came to town, and much of that is being directed at Torres. I have felt the same frustration too.

I can say Torres is bad for Chelsea and is washed up, without resorting to some petty jibe about him being a transvestite or some other homophobic nonsense because he frosts his hair.

By all means tell us how crap he is. Because recently he has been crap, and it has been magnified by the exposure the club seem determined to give him.

But when we start calling each other petty names, and talking about how he must be a homosexual because he cant score goals in the game of football we all look pretty f**king silly by association.

Well, call a spade a spade. A months back it was a problem that he was drifting out wide and playing like a winger, trying to put the ball into the middle for other people to score. That was playing for the team, but it was not what he was supposed to be doing.

I really hope not many opposition fans read this thread. Both pro and anti torres fans really are making arses of themselves on a daily basis.

Then close this thread, because it should have been closed over 188 pages ago.

For the record I've never called Fernando Torres 'Alice' or a 'ladyboy'.

I do however often refer to him as 'blondie' and also quite often call him a complete c**t.

I've never called him anything other than his name. However, I have no objection to the names given to him and I think people's righteous indignation is laughable. If you play like a little girl expect to be called a girl. It's called a backlash and it goes with the territory. As far as i'm concerned he's been cheating the club and the fans way too long.

Edit: I mean, if Torres possesses a pair of bollocks, I'm yet to see any evidence on the field.

In a perfect world the thread would have never been opened because the Cnut would never have signed for us.

Are you 6?

Maybe an IQ of six? Hazard a guess appears to have an agenda and is a WUM. Like a kid, he couldnt stop going on about Torres in the match thread either. Fair play to him for finally moving his childlike insults over to a thread that is actually about torres rather than dragging it over to a thread about a game he didnt play in.

To be fair, sturridge was injured a lot this season, and when it finally looked like he was going to get into the team after the WBA game, he got injured again. After he returned from injury, he was already heavily linked with a move to liverpool, so there was little incentive to play him or trust that his heart would be in it for the final games of december prior to his move.

For the record, i think Danny would have done well as our striker, and should have been given the chance, however little blamce can be attached to RDM or Rafa for not playing danny given the injuries this year.

he's been an awful signing , but the facts are he didnt want to sign , and the manager didnt want to sign him , i dont wish him any ill will he's put in  a few decent shifts , but he's a poster boy for the club we've become and that is tragic

I think people's righteous indignation is laughable.

Absolutely spot on Davey.

The faux outrage and humourless indignation makes this place seen like the Daily Mail at its worst. I think it's often forgotten this is a football forum!
