I certainly haven't spent time thinking of names to call him, which wouldn't take long.

 

If you think that Torres in anyway compares to the Interim then I suggest you have a long look at yourself.

Not sure where to start with that one to be honest but without stating the (seemingly) obvious I would answer it by simply asking what your feelings were regarding the acquisition of Torres before he turned out to be sh*t? Then compare that to Benitez just before he was named Manager.

 

Benitez was disliked/hated due to more than the fact he was/is a sh*t manager, Torres on the other hand only seems top have really started getting abuse from his own 'fans' when he has turned out to be a busted flush.

Personally, I think the name Floppes is brilliant and very, very apt, and whoever came up with it (can't be bothered to go back and check) is indeed a very clever bunny indeed.

I find it amusing that people feel so protective towards someone who continually pours out excuses to the press (the latest coming only last week), gives half-hearted performances like the one against the dippers and cheats the paying punter.

 

I could call him a lot worse, believe me.

 

Bosingwa continually got called Unibrow on these boards and more besides, plenty players have been called lots of things and nobody has raised an "eyebrow" (see what I did there?) but as we all know, when it comes to Fernando Floppes, people apply different rules, the same rule Benitez applied when he not only started him at Anfield but gave him the full 97 mins.

I dont think you can compare the 2, one is an overrated overpaid spanish waste of space who couldn't careless about the club and the other is FSW.

Yeah the fact I don't find 'floppes' funny does logically mean I must be sensitive, am grossly offended by swearing and naturally begs the question of how I would have coped in the 'terrace days'
