He's paid far too much money for him going missing for most of a season to be in any way acceptable, even if he set the world alight the previous season.

 

I would rather have a player who is decent week in week out than one who Is great for a bit then terrible for a bit.

 

Hazard is fairly core to the team, you have to shape your team around him. If he doesn't perform, that's a massive problem. What's worse, as he's seen as such a quality player, it's a brave move to bench him, even when he's clearly out of form because you never know if he's going to 'snap' back into it.

 

Whatever the reason for his bad form, he's giving off an impression of his mind being elsewhere. Then you've interviews where he sounds like he's angling for a move and finally swapping shirts at half time in front of us... 

 

A 'worse' player (or players) who puts a shift in and doesn't neuter the attack when things aren't going right is looking a better option than Hazard at the moment.

Last night hazard played well compared to the team running at defenders coming deep to get the ball trying to make things happen and he was tracking back constantly but because of his form he’s the one getting singled out. Two defensive errors and standing off PSG cost us last night not Hazard not tracking back or not scoring.

 

If he leaves this summer its because of fans not because he doesnt want to fight for the club.

 

I said this before but we are in danger of becoming another liverpool or Arsenal just happy with barely making it anywhere getting selling our best players.

 

That is nonsense. You can't put the blame on the fans if Hazard decides to leave at the end of the season. We're not fickle either, we are pissed off at a guy that doesn't look like he is putting in the effort we were seeing last season. We are pissed off at a guy that is looking like he doesn't want to be here anymore.

Eden hasnt had a good season and i think he will leave in the summer.Shame he couldnt stay and rediscover his form.As for some of our fans they are very fickle,sorry.

Next season if he goes to another large club and they are killing it in the CL everyone will be bitching and moaning that we sold him.

If he wants to go to Paris then swap him for Cavani. Change the formation to play 2 up top.

Here we have a very young man raking in Ten Million Pounds a year (and that's without image rights and bonuses).

 

I'll say it a gain...Ten Million Pounds a year.  For that I expect blood and a whole lot more and none of this absurd molly-coddling rollocks.

 

We have a player here that earns the same in a year as an average UK guy earns in a frigging lifetime and we talk about wet nursing him to bring out the best in him.

I still hope we hold onto Hazard as he has shown he is elite and those players are hard to come by, especially since we will have no CL in the near future. 

 

That said, it is imperative that we hold onto Pato. That guy looks a class above the rest in his instagram stills.

If we'd get a decent offer for him in the summer, he should get the boot!

The alternative seems to be he's just lost 'it' and will continue down this road for us if we don't sell him for cheap.

Which is what I'm asking. If he's crap for us but lights up the pitch for Belgium it will be pretty apparent he's lost interest in playing for us. On the other hand if he doesn't play well this summer it's not a indictment his play for us. I'm wondering what everyone is hoping to see from him this summer?

Do you think his transfer value has fallen so much that we're stuck with him? I can't see any European club in their right mind, except maybe Monaco, paying the 80-100 for him and offering a similar salary.

Stats never tell the whole story. Earlier in the season during the EQ, the belgian coach criticized his form also. 4goals in 5, 3 were pens.

Another English team disrespects the Europa League and they are now getting hammered. There is no excuse for it in my opinion. Tottenham may be going for the title, but to just throw away a competition like this is ridiculous. If i was a Tottenham fan i would be furious right now. Why bother entering the competition if you are just going to throw it away in the later stages ?

I don't want it to happen but if English football losses a European spot, we would be getting exactly what we deserve.
