He has had an offer on the table for 2yrs that he has refused to sign, I would have sold him last summer/Jan to extract the maximum value. That is potentially €100m  left on the table.

More likely Madrid using the media to unsettle Eden and us.  With the planting of stories in the media, Real Madrid are hoping that this causes Chelsea to accept a lower offer and accept it quickly by getting Eden to put pressure on the club, and for the club to believe that less money now is better than no money in a year.  

I don't see Eden pulling a Courtois...….but it wouldn't surprise me either.  And we have no idea if our transfer ban will be frozen by CAS in time to buy players, if at all.  

What I hope is that we don't accept Kovacic as part payment.  We should get a pile of cash money and buy players who can move us up a level.

Yea he won the Europa League like the final we are in now, didn’t you say he should stay until he won A European cup? That’s A European cup if you mean The European cup that’s been called the champions league for the last 25 years ?only way he was winning that with Chelsea would have been if he signed a year earlier, we are miles away mate, he could have won a supercup too if lukaku could take a pen. 

I'm 99% certain he's leaving, so i just wish it had been made official before the end of the league season, so he could have the onfield send off he deserved.

Yeah it sucks that it'll only be before 6,000 fans in Baku. He deserved a bigger goodbye.

But it doesn't look like it'll be confirmed by then, so those over in Baku will still be hanging and not be able to give him the kind of send off they'd love to give him. I think that's why Hazard wanted it sorted before the end of the season, so him and the fans could have a proper thanks and goodbye.

We should only sell if the ban is stayed, if it ain't f**k the £100m and keep him next year should be the only option. I'm not one to slate the club on a whim (quite frankly the FIFA career mode mentality some have makes me cringe) but selling him without a chance to replace will be ludicrously stupid.

Something to keep in mind regarding RM moving for Hazard - they've already spent roughly 92 million euros on Vinicius and Rodrygo, both young attacking players signed in the past year.  I don't think it necessarily stops them from buying Hazard, but what it might do is drive their offer down.  RM could take the stance of something like "Well Marina, we have 2 young, promising wingers/forwards we have just signed, plus Asensio, so if you don't take our offer, we will just sign him for free next summer."

Unfortunately for us, Hazard is the most accessible for them at the moment. The others you have listed would cost astronomical amounts of money. Whereas Hazard will be cut price due to the length of contract.

Hazard will not fix their problems

Hazard has wanted to go there since Zidane took over. He won't not want to go.

Problem is there is no guarantee Zidane will be there at the end of next season. He looks the type to run at any sign of problem, and has already hinted he will walk if he is not allowed control. Is this even a thing? Has anyone else reported this? Surely must make him question the move, but whether it'll stop him or not- I doubt it.
