Who is better than him? How can you watch Azpilicueta week in week out and tell me that he is NOT world class man???? The dude is BY FAR the best defender in the prem, and i will be honest to me he is the best out there, i dont see anybody that comes even close to him when it comes to defending, the dude is absolutely imacculate when it comes to defending, but not only that, he is also a great passer and an amazing crosser too on top of that. He is the best, people who disagree either dont watch him or are too biased to see. There is a reason why both Gary Neville and Carragher, both former DEFENDERS at the highest level constantly sing his praises and call him the best in the PL.

Top 3 in the world, undoubtedly, but he needs a good performance in CL. Hasn't done this before, so I guess it's perfect time. Especially against Barcelona potentially.

Yeah the cl refs this season haven been decent.......unlike epl where refs are a disaster helped by the pgmol and fa...........and mate, aint no way we are getting besktas haha, it will hurt one of their darlings if we did. But how much will you bet that utd will get a piss poor opponent Again?

We impress at the bridge but that thug verratti is allowed to chop hazard down time and again until he is out if the game while verratti only gets a last minute yellow for kicking the ball away. Psg come back, get a score draw then beat us in Paris with some dodgey pens that see Cahill sent off and a neymar wondergoal to cap it off.

Absolutely agree he's by far the best defender in the league and in Europe one on one, no one is better he has pace can tackle, he can cross. There is a reason Jose wanted a team full of Azpi he is absolutely WORLD CLASS just doesn't get the credit

I think Roman will give him everything he wants to stay, and he's not a glory hunter like some players he's a family guys hes said multiple times he not interested in leaving.

I feel the same about Eden, but I am sure he knows his worth. If we try to lowball him or something, then I wont fault him for leaving.

He is one of the best players in the world, and should warrant a salary with the calibre. Hope the club give him what he is worth.

I honestly think he's happy here, nothing has ever shown me otherwise. All this 'He fancies madrid' stuff is smoke and mirrors. When he's asked about madrid he always says, 'In the future maybe, but I'm happy at chelsea'. That tells me he'd never push for a move, and unless he wanted out I could never see us selling him. He has the potential to become a real legend for us, of the Terry/ Lampard/ Drogba/ Cech ilk, if he stays here, and I think that's something that appeals to him. You can see he's a humble guy, he's one of the best players in the world but he never acts vain or aloof, which is why i couldn't see him trying to force an exit.

I almost hope we do. PSG are very good going forward, but they aren't as good overall as people are painting them. Also we deserve some revenge, and it'd be a good way to announce to the continent that we are well and truly back.
