Am I the only one who thinks Hazard plays better and link up well with Giroud than with Morata?

Am I the only one who thinks it's very dubious that you haven't posted a thing while we were playing well and doing well in the league and then you turn up after a couple of defeats and start posting like a lunatic all over the place?

But tbf, don't you think Hazard links up better with Giroud?  I do.  The problem is Giroud cannot play 90 minutes and isn't going to ever score enough goals for the team.  He is a true target man though with skill, he can flick and lay off with ease unlike Morata.

But actually, my post was about that sad poster who only ever turns up here when we have a baddish patch and then whines and moans.  We never see him/her posting when we are doing well, not do we ever see him/her posting anything positive.

I was thinking that maybe Hazard is waiting to see if we get into the CL and what players we sign.

I think so too, either Madrid or PSG if Madrid cannot do the deal. Think Hazard wants a crack at CL and not another rebuild at SB. I don't blame him if this is his thinking.

Cavani at the wrong side of 30 would seem strange surely we want younger players, Immobile is 28 though I don't know what type of striker he is yet would he really want to come to the EPL?

Asensio is rated as a M/F what position do you see him playing in?

I like the brief clips I've seen of Pusilic yet we seem to need a lot of players to really strengthen. If Hazard went and Pusilic came in, Willian could move to the left with cover of CHO and we would have Pedro too.

We would still need to consider striker and full back positions and the Kovacic loan.

 

 

Theres no way in hell he stays if he can see CL footy is a non entity.......and neither would any of you if you were in his shoes, in his peak and hungry but zero strikeforce to help him out. He can get consistent CL footy elswhere, get more in wages, play with far better players. Failure in top4 means he is gone.

I hope he isn't looking at the stubbornness of Sarri to not play Kante in his rightful position, and he's looking at how chelsea are developing as a team with the distinct lack of goals up front, and then deciding im offski, Sarri has to find a new way of galvanising the talent or he may be a Scolari. 2

Not a chance we will get that much for him with a year left. 

Will hopefully be in the region of 60m+kovacic. Which will be a lot of money for a player of his age and his contract situation. 

After the spurs game I called hazard out on being part of the problem in terms of what he offered off the ball, so I wasn't suprised to see him playing centrally against city, so we can have Willian and Pedro offering better defensive support, and pressing more intensely. 

Moving forward, I would still like hazard to be given a run if games at centre forward, I appreciate we lose a bit of his game, and it has been hit and miss in the past, and I don't want to see us pull balls up to him, like we did under conte.

If we keep the ball on the ground, and we get players close to him, I think it could really work, and you know if he gets a chance, he will score. 

Maybe he isn't totally happy about playing there, but if it's best for the team in the short term, I think we have to go with it, at least until January comes anyway.

Conte tried it and first match great yet it didn't last. Might work better with Sarri.

His latest comment to RMC is not very encouraging.

He needs to learn to shut up about Real Madrid. Its getting pretty disrespectful to talk about them so much in the middle of the season.

If Giroud can play only 70 minutes every game and its brings out the best in Hazard, then I don't have problem with Giroud starting all games because when Hazard is playing at his best, he can score more than 20 goals in a season and Giroud himself can score at least 12 or 15 which means we won't struggle to make top 4.

Sadly its looking more likely he goes.....and he should zip it about RM. We get it Eden, you loved them since birth, but zip it a bit while you are still here. 2 Things will help us, we get CL footy Next season, and the Club shows ambition and get quality players that will blitz in the first 11 and improve us.

Agreed. Why can't he just say something like "Nothing has changed with my situation"? Constantly fawning over Real Madrid is getting really tiresome. 

Think it’s likely that this will be his last season with us unless Real decide not to make a move in the summer. 

In someways, as much I will miss him, it will be nice when it’s over as it’s like a constant cloud hanging over the club like Courtious. When they move, it feels fresh and everyone moves on. 

The only thing that I am bothered about is what sort of price we get. Rumours that the club are looking for £170m. Would we get that with a player who has 1 year left on his contract? I guess if average players like Richarlison are going for £50m then it’s possible. 

Be interesting to see what happens if Real are priced out of a move as well.
