Only if we lose Willian or Pedro else it’ll be another player stopping CHO getting minutes.

He has been brilliant & the best player in the Bundesliga, 9 goals & 6 assists in 16 league games. He is also effective on both flanks, and wouldn’t mind shifting out Willian for him.

The Club somehow has to get him to sign......he is the focal point, the creator, the scorer and the danger. We will be so f**ked if he leaves. Come'on Eden you know you wont get´the same support at RM. We need that top 4....thats the least to entice him. Then some quality players to help out.......we simply cannot lose him, he must remain the Prince of SB.

I think the plan is to move away from Willian / Pedro.

Also, If Thorgan is good - I would rather he plays for Chelsea than Pool/Spuds etc.  Eden and Thorgan played together for Belgium and have won. I dont see why they cant do that for Chelsea. If Thorgan is the better player then he will play. If CHO is the better player then he will play. Plus we have enough games to give them all starter minutes. All this assuming that Thorgan is Chelsea quality and Chelsea buy him ofcourse. We have enough average squad player  and we dont want more.

Hazard reminds me a bit of Henry at this point...by far the best player that maybe wants a new challenge and that looks bigger than the whole squad.

The more you think about it, the less likely it is Perez makes a move for him. The already have Bale, Asensio Isco who can play on the left. After missing out on Neymar to Barca, they paid €120m to sign  2 of the biggest talent out of South America who both happen to play on the left; Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

I would be fine with that. He's actually turned into a top player in recent seasons and is no longer just Eden Hazard's brother. If it came between picking him or Pulisic, I would pick Thorgan Hazard every time.

Nah, I can easily see him go for our boy........he can have a top 5 player for peanuts, I say it will be pretty stupid otherwise. And Isco is having a torrid time atm and linked to us.

The Guardian confirm my view that Hazard is underrated. He finished below both Griezmann and Salah in their annual list of the world's top 100 players. Anyone who knows anything knows Hazard is on another planet to those two. Hopefully Real's scouts are are of the same view as The Guardian's panel.

I just cannot fathom how a dude like Griezmann is constantly rated higher than Eden......not one Club would rather him that Eden, not one.

Agree, Thorgan is having a good season in germany and think he is at the level to be an improvement on willian now, would love to see him lining up on the right, and of course if this would  be enough to get eden to put pen to paper would be an amazing bit of business.

2019 is shaping up to be one of the worst Chelsea years in recent memory. Not only do we face the real prospect of losing Eden but Liverpool are on course to win the league...what a horrible double whamy that would be.

A part of me would like to purchase Thorgan to play on the left over Willian. He has been very good in the Bundesliga as of late, is certainly more prolific than Willian cutting in on his right foot, and he has been just as effective on the right.

It could be that purchasing him might be enough to persuade Eden to stay, because at this point it doesn't really look like happening otherwise.

I can and I see it as the thing that prevents Hazard being the greatest, both the other players can and do sprint into space Hazard likes the ball to feet which slows the game a bit. The game is becoming faster and faster.

Eden can and has done that a gazillion of times.........

Hazard can take the ball in space, but the way we play means that teams just pack the edge of their own box with 6-8 players, so there is no space to play into

Don't get me wrong Hazard can sprint and score yet I don't think his movement is continuous enough I think he is more static. Doesn't mean he is not our best player it is just when comparing with the best.

For me I think generally we have 4 slowish players, Alonso, Jorginho, Giround, Fabregas and Hazard.

It is not so noticeable with Hazard because of his superb dribbling ability.

The best teams have technical players that can run and sprint all match, the more you have of these the better chance of competing for top honours,

 

When he is at it we are great. When he wasted a one on one like he did yesterday and filters out of the game we are a poor team.
