No Hazard throughout a lot of the season, and they still win the league. If that happened to Hazard in 2015 or 2017, I don't think we would have won either of our league titles. I wonder if that is down to La Liga being a two teams league or Real Madrid's current team being better than both of our title winning teams

Hazard was our best player yet he is not necessarily Real's best player.

Barca's top men, Messi and Suarez are old by football standards at 33.

Just had a look at Real's last 6 matches the winning margin was just one goal in 5 of them.

I love him but no. He's become injury phrone and we're building our next great team, plus him returning would mean Pulisic will have to move to the right alas reducing his effectiveness.

It's a shame he never won the CL with us but he left at the perfect time.

Hazard carried his teams in his previous 3 titles as a player, if anyone deserves to win one while doing little it's him.

Apparantly we're getting paid in installments every year up to 2021 and the total fee will amount to £143m, incredible if true for a player who wanted to leave and had 1 year left.

I hope Hazard has at least one decent season there apart from perhaps meeting us in the CL.

The boy just can't catch a break. No sooner does he get fit and back in the Madrid starting XI he's tested positive for Covid. 

Will he be able to finally get going after the international break? Or is the Madrid move already shaping up to be a disappointment?

Scored last weekend too. Should have stayed with us. The guy would get kicked around the pitch every game for us and never pick up an injury.

Sheez, really? I hadn't realized he had been injured that often, poor guy. And corona on top of everything else too? 

It's bizarre bad luck still before we celebrate on selling him at the right time, Pulisic is hitting the injury bench too often too.

We didn't pay over 100 million for Pulisic though and he has years left in him.

True yet neither did we pay too much for Hazard at £32m in 2012 and we paid £55m for Pulisic I would say allowing for inflation in football terms that is probably a similar investment though think Hazard was less injury prone back then.

Think we are fortunate this season having Ziyech as he offers something different. 

When they are both fit we should look pretty exciting going forward.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's offered a route back to Chelsea next year. They have lots of options on the flanks, and after a quiet season they'd go big next year, and someone has to move on.

Asensio is not the same since his injury, Isco is not that good anymore for some reason and Rodrygo and Vincius are both 19 !!! Until Hazard can't sprint i dont see them giving up on him so soon. They probably gonna buy Mpappé in summer 2021 or 2022 so i think they will wait until then.
