The man's a warrior, manages to tread a fine line most of the time but occasionally oversteps the mark. I defy anyone to have spent 90 mins of the pitch with such spiteful opponents as we saw last night. Barry and Besic just niggle away and wind opponents up, Besic taken off at half time as he would never have seen out 90mins. Brana just got stuck into them, he's a winner and I for one value him in our team.

 

PS: He is a crap full back but he has made major contributions to our success in his time at the Bridge.

Great to hear he won't be charged, hopefully this will be the case. I don't want there to be an agenda against us and I'm not looking for there to be, and I don't want to think there's a 'conspiracy'. If the FA treated everything fairly then there's no problem but this media thing making everything we do look like we're always the bad guys and everyone else is great is frustrating to say the least.

He is a real warrior, and certainly takes less sh*t than any player since his arrival, far more combative than say Terry, i love his play this season, far better than the previous two, where i for one gave him pelters, loves the Game, and protects everyone...

Honestly, I don't even understand why the teams are getting charged. Yes it got heated, but everything cooled down afterwards. There was nothing malicious done following the square-off and everyone resumed play as usual. I think it's just the media acting up to sell a story. There were no upsets Yesterday, so pick-up something that happened during the game and run with it. The only thing that I find frustrating is that we got no recognition for our play and how we maintained our lead at the top.

Finally a bit of common sense

No wonder Jose blanks the media when they make up noncene like that.

I am still trying to figure out how some journalists managed to spin this as being a mass brawl, this was so far from a mass brawl, there have been many worse cases of a ‘brawl’ this season alone, Chelsea included. There was no need for either club to be fined either, the FA are a shambles.

Why do FA even bother if players decide to hug each other a little bit. It is so two-faced I wont even bother going into it deeper

He has been considered a defensive rock before this season. The guy is being asked to do pretty much everything on our right flank this season, and I would say he's doing a pretty decent job.

You will have to remind of these matches were players were ghosting past him. My memory is clearly not that good because I can't remember him being called a defensive liability at any point last season.
