June 13, 201412 yr He really doesnt bother me that much and not more so than Cole did at the time. If he helps us win more trophies and plays a big part in moving us forward there will be no problems.
June 13, 201412 yr Didn't he once give Arsenal fans permission to kill him if he ever played for Chelsea? Is it a verified quote? It was fake obviously, no player would ever say that. Not publicly anyway.
June 13, 201412 yr It actually physically f***ing hurts me to know that one of them is a Chelsea player and it isn't Lamps (although in a sense I am mightly glad Frankie doesn't have to call him teammate for a season). All you need to do is google "Lampard Fabregas" to remember all the bad blood during the years. I can forget that no easier that I can forget Benitez. Whilst I understand that, Fabregas is a good midfielder and Benitez is/was total sh*t (don’t le t a trophy wi fool you). I know you're not comparing their abilities as such... but Fabregas is more forgivable for that very reason - he is good at what he does. Don't think anyone would argue about his attitude and apparent arrogance/nasty streak etc but some people can also see what benefit he’ll bring to the team, in their opinion.
June 13, 201412 yr Good God, I can count the number of days since he was referred to here as "Fibreglass" and mocked for being the spine of a spineless Arsenal. We want to win trophies and he's here to win trophies, pure and simple. It's a workable arrangement, but let us not pretend we can grow to love him and let us certainly not pretend he can EVER come to love us after our history against the clubs he's been at. As Lar7 said he is a footballer, not a PR executive.
June 13, 201412 yr https://vine.co/v/MjTQDar0mHb Ohhh, some hard man that is, burning a shirt Am i the only one that thinks someone burning a shirt is one of the most pathetic things fans do when one of their own/ex players joins a rival ?
June 13, 201412 yr Ohhh, some hard man that is, burning a shirt Am i the only one that thinks someone burning a shirt is one of the most pathetic things fans do when one of their own/ex players joins a rival ? It's not so bad for us because it happens so rarely. Mata's about the only key player I can remember going to a direct rival. Just think of all the rage and frustration created by Arsenal fans alone over the last six years.
June 13, 201412 yr Joey Cole left and joined Liverpool. I didnt burn the shirt but i couldnt bare to wear it anymore.

June 13, 201412 yr Amusing one from my facebook wall: Michael William GeorgeJust seen some bar steward wearing a Chelsea top. I immediately throw-up on him. Completely deserved. Ian Parrish Are you angry that fabregas joined a successful club rather than return to Arsenal? Michael William George Last time i checked we won a trophy last season, and one of the most historic at that, while Chelsea once again finished empty handed.
June 13, 201412 yr Joe Cole leaving wasn't that bad for me, he clearly wasn't the player he once was and needed a new challenge. Poyet going hurt but I got over it, Gallas going also hurt but he acted like such a cnut afterwards I quickly despised him and think getting rid when we did was probably the right move and Mata going is still a sore point in some ways but as we haven't played against United since he went I still don't know ultimately how I feel.

Last I checked we won the Europa League a year ago and they only just won their first trophy in 9 years lol
June 13, 201412 yr Every butthurt Arse fan who has talked to me has said how we won nothing and they wont the FA cup..... like really
June 13, 201412 yr Every butthurt Arse fan who has talked to me has said how we won nothing and they wont the FA cup..... like really This is why I truly hope we can do something big next year cause we can throw that back in their face
June 13, 201412 yr Author Just keep reminding them, Q,"who are London's only CL winners", feels better already,
June 13, 201412 yr Yeah I'm pure raging we didn't win our first tropy in 9 years which was the FA cup. The 3 EPL titls Champions League Europa Leauge Fa cups League cups They just don't compare tbh!
June 13, 201412 yr Cesc Fabregas put any hesitation over working with Jose Mourinho behind him after being assured he will be given a key role at Chelsea next season. Fabregas completed a £27m switch to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona, which could rise to £30m depending on silverware, last night. The Spanish international has agreed a five-year contract worth £156,000-a-week and will wear the number four shirt next season. Fabregas’ decision to join Chelsea was a surprise given what appeared to be a sour relationship with Mourinho, which included telling him to ‘shut up’ four months ago after the Chelsea manager labelled the current Barcelona side as the worst for ‘many, many years’. Mourinho also didn’t make him his first choice acquisition for the midfield berth as he preferred Atletico’s Koke and Juventus star Paul Pogba instead. However both those players ruled out a switch, making a move for Fabregas more attractive, especially as his former club Arsenal decided not to exercise their buy-back option. Significantly, Fabregas was also assured during negotiations that Mourinho sees him as providing the spark to the team’s attacking play from midfield next season and that he is to become one of the leaders in the dressing room. The average age of Chelsea’s squad is decreasing rapidly and the club saw two of their most experienced players depart this summer in Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/cesc-fabregas-joined-chelsea-after-being-assured-of-key-role--on-and-off-the-pitch-9534122.html Interesting point about the average age of the squad. Even by signing players older than we have in recent seasons the incoming players are much young than those they are replacing. Costa is 8 years younger than Eto'o Fabregas is 9 years younger than Lampard Luis is 4 years younger than Cole
June 13, 201412 yr Cesc could easily become club Captain, if this is JTs swan song. Nope, I'm happy with the signing but the boy ain't getting nowhere near the captaincy.
