The way he took those three goals from Schürrle made him look like a striker. Congrats on your first treble in blue, good man. May there be more. MOTM for me.

Gotta be Schurrle. Hazard second.

Schurrle the obvious choice for 3 very well taken strikes but I've gone for Hazard who just orchestrated so much in the second half . Delightful to watch.

Hazard played well and created good chances but if it wasn't Schurrle on the end of them then I doubt it would have resulted in goals. Compare the cross to Torres and the one Schurrle for example, Torres is caught on his heels and let's a defender get a touch whereas Schurrle is anticipating the cross long before the defender even moves and manages to even get a heel on it. 

Hazard 

I would feel bad not giving it to Schurrle after a hat trick so I will... but for the whole match once again Cahill didn't really put a foot wrong. 

Schurrle seems logical but I think over 90 minutes Hazard was again our star man and created the goals today. Schurrle a very close second for his second half performance. Azpi was a beast again today, as was Matic and Cahill. 

Hazard for me who was decent first half and unplayable the second. Good hatrick Schurrle but had an awful first half so cant give him MOTM. 

 

Good games also, as usual, for Cahill and Azpilicueta.

Who voted for Ba? 

Across 90 minutes I thought Cahill was our best performer. Schürrle and Hazard really stepped up in the second half whilst Cahill was excellent throughout.

Hazard for me, quality and a huge influence to how the team performs, really happy for Shurrle who has given Jose a reminder of what he can do with three well taken goals.

 

Ba looked ok when he came on which is nice and Willian got a well deserved rest,

 

Defensively Cahill and Terry are looking more and more solid, we seem to drift in and out of games but when we have spells like we did today it bodes well for what we could do if we could keep our foot down for bigger portions of the game, a Banana skin out of the way against riavls who love to up their game against us.

Schurrle no question won us the game with high quality finishing.

In fact you should change your vote to Hazard's Mom & Dad. We have Eden on the 1st team. Thorgan on loan & I hear there is one more Hazard coming up the ranks. Imagine a team full of Hazards? Freakin scary for the other side.

Schurrle did what others have not, he utilised our best player and gave him something to aim for, Schurrle and Hazard are 2 players I like together.

Kylian Hazard is at White Star Bruxelles and is said to be more talented and the youngest Hazard, Ethan is playing in the academy of Eden's first club. Crazy really.

Cahill was our best player in the first half and Hazard was our best player in the second, but it has to be Schurrle for bagging a hat-trick and showing an efficiency in front of goal that we've been crying out for. Hopefully we'll he seeing him on the pitch a bit more from now on.

It seems ridiculously harsh not to give it to someone who scorerd a hat-trick however. for me, it was Hazard's massively improved second half performance which was the catalyst for us turning a dour 0-0 waiting to happen into the 3-1 victory.  The second half he looked like the player who destroyed Newcastle.
