If City do in fact get KDB, us and the rest of the league will be chasing them all season.  Especially considering that Yaya has seemed for find his offensive abilities again.

 

I do think City will be the team to beat, as they should be. They had a good squad that under performed last season, massively under performed really.

 

Add to that squad a quality CB, who they just signed, and two very, very good young attacking midfielders who may become top class and you should expect them to do well at home and in Europe.

 

Pressure on them, especially in the CL. Spend that money and fail again would not make for a happy City owner.

KDB is good as long as you can live with his lack of defensive contribution. I watch Belgium alot and he dosen't track back much, but whenever there is a counter attack on he is usually in the middle of it. I think with Yaya, KDB and maybe two strikers at the same time that City might be a bit unbalanced and can be easily counter attacked themself.

Well that's it my feelings are officially hurt...like the song says " I want it all and I want it now" bollox to pogba and bollox to stones, I wish we had have just brought wistel in, we defiantly need a cm fielder or this may be a painful season, unless on the off chance jose gives rlc ago and he comes good. 

This doesn't mean city are guaranteed the title, but definitely makes them favourites. It is difficult to retain the title anyway, so it wouldn't bother me too much if they did win it. Of course it would be nice to retain it, but i would also like to see us progress further in the CL under José also. If we can strengthen wisely by the end of the window, then we'll be up there to retain it again.

Our biggest ever mistake was selling Robben to Madrid.  

Unless KDG has changed, he will have the same problem he had at Chelsea. There's no guarantee he will beat the likes of Silva/Sterling/Nasari to the starting spot. City has a good thing going, are they just going to change the game plan because of him? Of course he's a better player now, but I don't regret let him go at the time..

They will not pay that much money and have him on the bench. Too much face will be lost. Nasri will miss out.

Indeed, he has the advantage because of the height of the transfer fee. If City didn't think he was an improvement, they wouldn't have paid such an enormous amount of money. He is a great player and he will be a great player for Man City. I still think we shouldn't have sold him, but i can understand why we did it so i wouldn't call it a mistake. These things happen.

He didnt throw anything out the pram. Surely theres a middle ground between starting every month and only playing in two Carling cup ganes over a 4 month period.
