He's not a priority signing. I would be fuming if we sign him up for 45M, and forget to buy a striker again.

I'd love a player like him, but I'd hate to see us throw 60-70 million on him. I'd much prefer we found our own talent like him than buy one ready made and I really believe Chalobah can become a top midfielder if given a chance here.

 

Ancelotti already commented on possibly signing Pogba, and I doubt we'll go to war financially with Madrid.

 

Personally I'd go for Kroos if he decides to leave in the summer, he'd be an ideal replacement for Lamps and not to mention both world class and still young. Our top priority should be a striker and Luke Shaw, and we should only get a midfielder if somebody leaves.

He has some fantastic highlight videos. I've watched him about 20 times and he is a fantastic player already, but there is still areas he can and will improve on, which is frightening.

Would love him here but I doubt it will ever happen to be honest.

You'd have to say that given Cesc signing and inevitable Costa signing the likelihood of Pogba given the asking price is close to zero. Great player no doubt but can't see it happening.

Sure in the right position they are gold. A striker who is slightly more effective is worth the money. Central midfielder, not so much. 

 

Consider the difference between Vidal for example and Pogba, 40m v 60m. Are we saying that Pogba would make that much more of a difference to the team that we would forgo the purchase of a 20m player and Vidal for him?

 

Or in the case of Fabregas, would we take the equivalent of Fabregas plus Willian or Hazard, instead of Pogba. I'd suggest we would.
