December 23, 20169 yr Yeah, Newcastle definitely would be better for his confidence. He'll have the chance to become a star there, at West Ham he'll struggle to get games. Something needs to be done now
December 29, 20169 yr Chelsea are willing to let Ruben Loftus-Cheek out on loan but want him to play regular football. The league leaders would also prefer for the 20-year-old to play at a Premier League rival to gain greater experience. So far, Chelsea have fielded more than 10 enquiries for the England U21 international midfielder with Championship clubs such as Newcastle United at the fore. don't think he'll be starting / get a lot of minutes in the prem me thinks, need to go to the championship but fsw wants to play him on the wing so he can f**k off
December 29, 20169 yr How do you know he wants to play him on the wing? Edited December 29, 20169 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
December 29, 20169 yr Maybe it will be the kick up the rear end he needs. Show him possibly league 2 to wake him up. He has the potential but too much too soon has caused issues.
January 5, 20179 yr 'Brighton boss Chris Hughton is poised to land a huge coup by beating a host of Premier League clubs to the signing of Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, reports the Daily Mirror. Antonio Conte is ready to ratify the 20-year-old’s loan move to the AMEX Stadium after his failure to break into the Premier League leaders’ first team on a regular basis. Conte feels the Sky Bet Championship leaders Brighton offer Loftus-Cheek a better chance of first-team football, which would see West Ham miss out on the promising youngster.'
January 8, 20179 yr I'd still like to see him at some point in a 352 with Kante/Matic covering him. Get him driving through the middle with Costa/Hazard to play off
January 8, 20179 yr Didn't watch the game against Peterborough but I've noticed that he has impressed a lot of our fans. Good to hear about his good performance, new paper under Conte.

January 8, 20179 yr Looked good and certainly tried hard. However, he always looks good against lower league teams. He needs to start taking his moments against prem teams.
January 9, 20179 yr Should have buried his chance but he had a good game overall. In the heart of virtually all our promising attacks and made a very nice assist for Batshuayi. A loan would be the best for him though as he sorely needs minutes. But unless we bring in an AM then I don't think we can take any chances given how we don't have a huge amount of depth at in these positions.
January 9, 20179 yr Looks so powerful when he gets going. Painful knowing he might waste his potential, hopefully not.
January 9, 20179 yr He was impressive yesterday, probably the best out of the youth set up that started. He needs to do this on a regular basis and Conte won't ignore it. Good game by Chalobah too.

He has played a total of 9 minutes in the PL this season. Hard to take anything off those "moments". Not that i am complaining about his game time because simply put we have just one competition to play in and he simply is not in the plans. But the kid can only do good when he is given an oppurtunity.
January 9, 20179 yr Don't wanna get too excited given the opposition but that was mighty good. would like to see him stay and get more games when we're winning comfortably or even perhaps Conte should be bold and bring him on if we're struggling. He needs games.
January 16, 20179 yr Not seen much of him lately, but when he came on on Saturday I was struck by how big the guy is now, quick, and powerful, and with loads of potential...
January 16, 20179 yr I'm still not happy with his workrate, but he looked a bit more composed and confident on the ball the other day.
February 26, 20179 yr Surely got to be loaned out in the summer, no point sitting on the bench every week and not playing.
March 20, 20179 yr hope he pushes on and becomes a regular first team player. Shame about the c**t antenna on his head.
