Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

Featured Replies

He has a job and its not morning (09.21 AM)

I suspect he doesn't live in Manchester. I wouldn't normally bother to acknowledge a troll, but standards are really slipping.

With regard to Diego, a must win game for us, Arsenal lost it and became hysterical as is their wont. But we always looked like winning anyway, even before the handbags.

I support Charlton Athletic (don't take the piss!). (We can't all support top 4 teams)

Anyway, purely a view from a disinterested viewer of the game Saturday.

Any idea that Costa wasn't culpable is risible. He deserved to be sent off. As did Gabriel who needs to get to grips with not reacting to sly villainy. I felt a bit sorry for Cazorla though....lovely footballer. Hardly a thug, no?

But tell me Chelsea fans, where are you going? Happy to beat yet again an Arsenal team you can out muscle but not out football, what's the big plan?

You are I have to tell you this, hardly admired. Mourinho is succesful, undeniably but it's like your whole purpose in life is to f**k people off. What's all that about? You have the money and players to compete with Barcelona, but the world loves them. They don't love you. Champions league you won under Di Matteo. I can't see it happen under Mourinho. I wonder if UEFA officials are not kind to you in a way in which they are, say to Barcelona, Bayern or Madrid. Frankly, no UEFA referees will get censure should they give a dodgy decision against Chelsea in the CL.

You reap what you sow. You can't adopt the laager mentality of the average Millwall fan, no one likes us be what don't care.

But frankly if you aim for the top, you should care.

bore off

I doubt if he really supports Charlton, but if so maybe he's still p*ssed off about the time we thrashed them, and Churlishly asked for the game to be replayed because of the dodgy pitch.

Comedy gold.

Ah, the battle of Stamford Beach, eh? :happy001:

Diego Costa was in the headlines at the weekend for his aggressive style of play during Chelsea’s win over Arsenal – but the Spain international did not look like he cared too much as he spent Sunday relaxing at Peppa Pig World.

It is unclear what Costa was doing at the theme park as he does not have any children – but he may have been paying a visit on the recommendation of teammate Willian who went to Peppa Pig World with his two children back in April.

Got to love this man. Creates a national sh*tstorm on Saturday, spends Sunday at Peppa Pig World.

Diego is gonna come back from his suspension jeered at by the opposition fans. He will focus on scoring goals instead of pushing and shoving opponents, and he will score plenty. Frustrating the opposition. We will love it.

You heard it hear first.

Yep, will start straight away...that's why as miffed as they may be, they should just accept it now...they have no chance of getting it overturned

Exactly. If he misses Walsall then he misses Newcastle (a) and Southampton (h). I'm quite confident we can both of those league games without him. It's imperative we have him back for West Ham (a) in a month though, that's just type of fixture where we need his physicality.

I just made an acc to talk about this :D. I'm a United fan but I just had to do it.

Geez you lot are special bunch. What he did was mark him out of the game.

If Koscienly starts crying after he get's hit like Diego did after he got "hit" by Gabriel it's a red card for Diego and Arsenal play the second half against 10 man. If Koscienly starts crying after getting hit the second time....if Koscienly jumps to the ground like any player in Spain would, and rolls around...Costa get's a red card ....

Gabriel was stupid to do that, even if that is not a kick.

Costa is ...well Costa.

But in this mess...the only one who acted well was the french man.

Di Mateo goal in the FA CUP. What year ?

That was the question to register, how many of you used google for that one?   :D :D :D

Can't believe FA. Yes he may deserve a ban but they are so inconsistent its unbelievable. Naismith kicking Ivanovic just last round never mentioned at all, Sanchez punching Ivanovic with all his might last season and no one raised an eyebrow, Barnes doing his best to break Matic and Ivanovic legs etc. They are a bunch of tw*ts to be honest.

He will be a target and liability for the rest of the season in all competitions and if we stand any chance of winning any of them we need 11 players on the pitch at all times not 10 and grenade waiting to go off. I love costa as I love his desire and passion but he goes about intimidating defenders the wrong way. From now on anything he does he will be at risk of getting sent off.

Refs, linesmen’s and fourth officials will now be looking for his antics and I will be truly shocked if he doesn’t get sent off and banned again and the next ban will be a lengthy one.

He was a target from day one, booked for diving after being foul tackle by a Burnley player thug, so nothing new there then,

never have we played with 10 men because D Costa has been red carded.

Refs, linesmen’s and fourth officials will now be looking for his antics, good because they will then see that he

is more sinned against than the other way round, prehaps he will at last gets some protection, want hold my breath though.

But they are consistent...if you play for Chelsea you get punished, if you don't then you won't. Can't be more consistent than that.
