Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

Featured Replies

I support Charlton Athletic (don't take the piss!). (We can't all support top 4 teams)

Anyway, purely a view from a disinterested viewer of the game Saturday.

Any idea that Costa wasn't culpable is risible. He deserved to be sent off. As did Gabriel who needs to get to grips with not reacting to sly villainy. I felt a bit sorry for Cazorla though....lovely footballer. Hardly a thug, no?

But tell me Chelsea fans, where are you going? Happy to beat yet again an Arsenal team you can out muscle but not out football, what's the big plan?

You are I have to tell you this, hardly admired. Mourinho is succesful, undeniably but it's like your whole purpose in life is to f**k people off. What's all that about? You have the money and players to compete with Barcelona, but the world loves them. They don't love you. Champions league you won under Di Matteo. I can't see it happen under Mourinho. I wonder if UEFA officials are not kind to you in a way in which they are, say to Barcelona, Bayern or Madrid. Frankly, no UEFA referees will get censure should they give a dodgy decision against Chelsea in the CL.

You reap what you sow. You can't adopt the laager mentality of the average Millwall fan, no one likes us be what don't care.

But frankly if you aim for the top, you should care.

I won't sleep tonight knowing a Charlton fan font like us. f**k em all

There's so much wrong with this post, all I can add is that I just cooked and ate an epic Chilli and had a good shag. I wish you goodnight.

So much wrong, you can't identify one single point

Fans are blind none so more than you

"out-muscle but not out-football"?  I suppose when we beat them 6-0 two seasons ago that was only because we out-muscled them?  I think you'll find that we have OUT-PLAYED  them more often than not.  Don't believe the media hype that they are the footballing messiah - passing is not the be all and end all.  The idea is to get the ball in the net.

First things first, you mention sly villainy, why do you conveniently forget Koscielny's part in all this, the backwards dive, done to get Costa in to trouble, did you miss this, or is everything Costa's fault. According to you, we just outmuscle teams like Arsenal yes? We didn't outplay them, the time we beat them 6-0? We are more than capable of outplaying many teams and we've outplayed Arsenal on numerous occasions in recent years, so you are talking utter nonsense. As for your question where are you going? What's the big plan? I'll tell you, the plan is for more success in the future, whether people like you like it or not, guess what, in the future we will win more trophies and outmuscle more teams, you and the rest of the football world will just have to deal with it.

You talk about Chelsea aiming for the top, in case you've forgotten, we've been at the top, competing with the best teams for quite some time now. We haven't been liked since the takeover in 2003, by the media and by the average fan like yourself, in fact we are detested by a lot of people, but we should care because you say we should? I don't think so, we can remain at the top and remain hated, Millwall don't have the right to be the only club that adopt the we don't care attitude and I'm sure a lot of us don't care that you think we should care, you're talking nonsense.

How many truely disinterested viewers watch 90+ plus minutes of a football match and then sign up to an online forum to talk about it?

No censure for dodgy officiating against Chelsea in the CL? Old news pal. Look up Overboard if you want to see an obvious example of that. If he didn't get censure then we accept that no ref ever will.

Speaking of which, when you get past what should of been a red for Costa tell me, what did you make of the ref ignoring two stonewall penalties for Chelsea? Had the ref done his job Costa would of been off but so too Gabriel as that would of been his second yellow after the penalty he committed against Hazard.

Carzola is certainly no thug but that doesn't change the fact he committed two clear yellow card offenses that game.

If you think Costa was acting completely unprovoked you're having a laugh. It doesn't excuse his reaction and he deserves his ban, but it backfired spectacularly on the Arsenal players. Koscielny was smart enough to keep his cool but not Gabriel. He jumped in and then I assumed he tried to yet clever. I have no doubt that Gabriel's little back flick/kick was only designed to make Costa react so he could get him sent off with a dramatization just as he did when he played for Villarreal and Costa played for Athletico.

Classic FA witch hunt. Something that happens in half a second is picked out, slowed down and replayed ad nauseum. Wenger has a sook, his Gooner mates on Fleet Street sook some more and the FA fold to pressure.

Meanwhile Ospina decapitates Oscar in full view of everyone, knocks him out and nothing happens, Ashley Barnes attempts to snap Matic's leg in two and nothing happens. You can understand why Jose feels there is s campaign against us.

He will be a target and liability for the rest of the season in all competitions and if we stand any chance of winning any of them we need 11 players on the pitch at all times not 10 and grenade waiting to go off. I love costa as I love his desire and passion but he goes about intimidating defenders the wrong way. From now on anything he does he will be at risk of getting sent off.

Refs, linesmen’s and fourth officials will now be looking for his antics and I will be truly shocked if he doesn’t get sent off and banned again and the next ban will be a lengthy one.

Get Costa suspended will be Wenger's best win this season. We rarely have any luck with the panel, I guess if we take the plea, he will be out of the league cup he won't be playing anyway, and 2 league matches. Given the amount of sh* that will be thrown against him, probably a good time to rest up a week or 2. On the other hand, I could see Jose want to fight this, just to prove a point and fire up his troops.

It's pathetic - there wasn't a single facet of the game in which they were better than us in the first half. Walcott got around the back once or twice but that was about it. Whatever on Earth 'out-football' means we most certainly did that.

And as for feeling sorry for Cazorla... give me a break, he got two yellow cards for two deserving challenges and was sent off, it's that simple.

As if this hasn't been the case since day 1.

What to read something hilariously pathetic?

"A section of Arsenal fans have started a boycott of Costa Coffee until Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista returns from his suspension. The campaign comes after Chelsea striker Diego Costa's antics in the London derby at the weekend. (Metro)"

He will have to dial it down a bit as his card is well and truely marked. However i would like to say b......s to the media, the fa,Arsehole fans and Mr Whinger, who after all is just a loser pure snd simple.

I support Charlton Athletic

I suppose some poor c**t has to.

But tell me Chelsea fans, where are you going? Happy to beat yet again an Arsenal team you can out muscle but not out football, what's the big plan?

We did "out football" them.

We scored two goals, they scored none.

You are I have to tell you this, hardly admired.

Shock *gasp* you don't say?

It's like your whole purpose in life is to f**k people off. What's all that about?

No we're successful bitter fans from clubs like, oh I don't know, Charlton for example don't like it.

We hit the jackpot when Roman bought the club and now knob heads from other clubs have spent more than a decade telling us we're sh*t and they don't like us out of pure jealousy.

You have the money and players to compete with Barcelona, but the world loves them. They don't love you.

We do compete with them, hence beating them in their own back yard on the way to winning to the European Cup.

There's a lot of people who are sensible enough not to buy into Barca's "more than a club" pretense and don't spend their nights spacking off to the Leo Messi posters on their wall.

You can't adopt the laager mentality of the average Millwall fan, no one likes us be what don't care.

But frankly if you aim for the top, you should care.

A lot of people don't like us, fans of clubs such as... Oh I don't know, Charlton feel the need to go out of their way to sign up to Chelsea forums to try and make what they think are witty sly digs at our club.

But do you know what, we don't care. We only care about our club.

Enjoy your game against Cardiff at the weekend.

So fans hate us, you know what, i am way passed caring anymore, i have been for years. No matter what we do, we are hated, it's been that way since 2003. People hate us because a rich man picked us over them. By the way, Barcelona ain't loved either, everyone can see that in the last 10 years they have been the top side in football, but there is always a but when talking about them, their diving and play acting is always bought up. We also shouldn't care just because you say so either.

Also, did you watch the game on Saturday ? before the red card, we were on top, we were playing the better football, Arsenal couldn't get the ball off us or hold onto it themselves. Obviously you didn't watch the game because you would have noticed all of that.

You say all we do is f**k people off, well tell me what we are doing so wrong then ? or do you just read the papers like all of the other idiots and take that as the truth. Seriously, what have we been doing in the last 10 years that is so bad ?

That bit about UEFA ref's not giving us the same decisions as Bayern, Barcelona, or Real Madrid is just ridiculous. You're basically saying we should act a certain way to get UEFA refs to cheat for us...........whatever problems you have with the way we apparently behave is nothing compared to saying we should change the way we are so UEFA refs can help us cheat our way to another Champions League win.
