nothing change, if we can get good value then time to get rid.. That kind of provocation act won't be the last that we see from costa and it's just too much for me to take at times.. 

I just think Costa is superb and if we saw 10 other players with the same hunger last Saturday we would have got a result. His first booking was blatant aggression by Barry.

Not to be pedantic, and you are right that he looked like he was going to bite Barry, but like every other Chelsea player on that pitch he didn't actually bite anyone. I think that's what people are basing their opinions on.

How can you moan about a 'dirty' player that will bang in 20goals/season. If Chelsea went out and signed Suarez in summer (for arguments sake, obviously impossible) would you all be moaning and saying you don't want him? 

 

Ron Harris was a dirty player yet he's a Chesea great, nobody cares that he was a hard nut. 

 

If people seriously want Costa out they have serious issues. Without Europe we have no chance of attracting another high calibre striker. 

 

 

Lacazette won't leave a champions league side in Dortmund and if he does it certainly won't be for Chelsea. Icardi has been a shadow of himself last year and at the end of the day he's just a poacher, only as good as those feeding him. Lacazette has been sh*te since Fekir has been injured and he can't rely on him anymore. Morata is not prolific,goals in 27 games this year? behave. 

Chopper was hard player in an era were hard tackles were the norm. He would never have gone to bite someone, big difference and that goes too for all the hard players of his time.

So on top of his existing mandatory 2 game ban he's likely to get at least another game ban or more for not leaving the pitch. Time for Pato to show he can step up

Where did you get your quote from? The official FA statement says 1 game for the red and 1 for 'misconduct' whatever the hell that is.

I was actually on the fantasy league game earlier and he was marked red late morning for two gane suspension haha. I assumed this further charge was an additional to the 2 as it east on any news sites by that stage apart from fantasy scout when I Google his suspension. Odd that it is already on fantasy game but not news haha.

ShedEnder91, I understand what you're saying about fight and passion but I disagree where Diego is concerned. I don't see him showing passion for the club, I see him being a man that loves to try to hurt people by being dirty rather than being tough, I see a man that when he's there he wants to charge around 100 miles an hour leaving boots and elbows in on people, and I see a man that is "not there" far too often.

Thing is he reacts so badly to it. Why wouldn't you do that if you were playing against him? Everyone gets at least one big crunch on him....and there's a very real chance he'll lose his cool and get sent off. Dirty tactic, but effective none the less

So you have to work that round the other way when he's up to his antics. It's dirty but effective nonetheless, thanks to him we got six points against Arsenal this season.

This isn't aimed at you Zola but I remember on here and in general when people wanted Drogba out because of his slap on Vidic in the Champions League final which invariably cost us our first title.

If he does bite someone then that's the point where I will say enough is enough and that's out of line but until that moment, I will support him because since Hiddink's arrival, he's been far and away our best player and we would be much further down the table without him and looking over our shoulder.

I think Costa may well return to Spain over the summer. He looks fed up getting kicked every week, a bit like Hazard. His improper conduct charge relates to an allegation that he spat towards the referee when he was dismissed and that at half time he made a gesture towards Everton fans while leaving the pitch.

Or more to the point, an alleged/apparent offensive gesture surely ? For goodness sake someone must have been going out of their way to capture that image and make a meal of it.

 

If you want really ugly and offensive gestures you only need to look on the internet for plenty of examples that show 'fans' in the crowd at grounds around the country week in, week out.
