Chelsea in for Falcao?

Featured Replies

If he is joining I'd rather it get done out of the way, can't be dealing with another saga. Get it done before the Copa America if we really want him.

The chance are it will weaken us because we had better options.

We could have a young, fit and very hungry player, who costs nothing, and will be on a fraction of his wage.

stop making sense will you

Stop it please, we've been in for Falcao for 3 years now havent' we?

Why not keep Costa, Remy and give Bamford a chance, the odds of him making a season of it are as good as Falcaos.

The reason why everyone is wanting to get Falcao, is the fact that Winter is Coming!!!

Exile, that Falcao went with the injury.

It may seem ludacris to think it affects a player that much, but it's been proven throughout pro sports that injuries like that can affect a player's career. I didn't think he had the mentality to be prolific in the Premier League when we wanted him from Atletico, after that season in Manchester his motivation must be next to nothing.

I don't see how we would possibly benefit from signing him.

Personally I think Falcao will remain in AS Monaco, especially after I read this news today. Remember Monaco do have UCL footie to play & there is no real reason for that side to give up on their #1 striker now.

Players careers can be ruined by ACL injuries but it's too early to tell with Falcao.

He is partially of English descent; George King, one of his great-grandfathers, emigrated from the North Yorkshire village of Burn near Selby in 1932 to work as an accountant for the United Fruit Company in Colombia. Owing to this ancestry, Falcao's father attempted to make it easier for his son to play in Europe by obtaining a British passport for him, however this was rejected.

Well blow me over.

I refuse to even believe there's  1 single shred of truth in this

once bitten twice shy - Torres

best move on and get a striker who a) can score.  b) don't cost an arm and a leg. & c) doesn't mind the bench (ok RF seemed to like the OT bench I'll admit to that)

What's he done to make you think that? Heard nothing but good things about him.

IMHO what Val said is correct. I have seen both Berba & Falcao pout when things weren't going their way.

Rumours are that Monaco have reduced his price tag to £18m and we're considering a PERMANENT move, not loan. Apparently Falcao will not be earning more than Hazard.

£18m for a 29 year old with a dodgy knee? Remember the story about him having to wear an ice pack after every game?

I really hope the club or doctors are doing their homework on him..particularly if it's a permanent move.

Please no, waste of £18 million right there
