Always bemuses me how Rio Ferdinand makes the racsim incident involve him. 

 

It was between Terry and Anton Ferdinand but every time Rio speaks about it you could be forgiven for thinking that it was him that was directly involved. 

 

He was indirectly involved when he called Ashley "Choc Ice" on twitter, but that's about it.

Well exactly.... Obviously we don't know the full ins and outs of what went on in private but he's always made it seem like he was directly involved. 

 

Other than publicly suggested Ashley Cole betrayed his race I've never really understood why he's been so vocal about it.

So is Sol Cambell the Kanye West of English football?

It's not so much ignoring what Hazard has achieved or contributed this season but after he picked up the PotY award it would be nice to see another member of the squad recognised by the fans. 

 

I can't speak for anyone else but JT alongside his stellar performances at the back has continually shown throughout the season how much this title means to him as an individual.

 

His celebrations after the away games to QPR and Arsenal are what us fans love to see in our captain and it's for that why he is my Fans' Player of the Year. 

 

No argument from me. As I have already said, JT has been immense and has had one of his best ever seasons which at this stage in his career is some feat. It is hard to imagine a Chelsea team in the future without his leadership.

 

But all that said, I still think Hazard is the stand-out over the course of the season. As much as I hate the idea of no JT in the future, IF we did lose Hazard right now, we would be f*cked.

There seems to be a problem with the voting page. Can't find Gerrard on the list. I'm gutted, wanted to vote for him this being his last season and all. Also, and you might not have heard this yet, his birthday is just a few days after the awards ceremony.

 

I voted for JT instead but I'm not so sure about him. Heard that he might not like Phil Collins...

Hazard for me, then JT then Diego. We are blessed to have them all.

My two pennys worth. went to mr concrete head himself, i think he has been the most consistent by far. When all the other players have had little dips in form. The Leader, The Legend, has been imperious! Thats the right word! (especially after being wrote off by so many twats). 

JT. How many errors has he made this year? Just look at the amount of fouls he's made and you'll realise he's been a f**king machine this season.

I love the guy, pure and simple and its going to break my heart ever so slightly when he isn't leading us out anymore.

Agreed, did that get goal of the month on MOTD?

This is why you need two goals of the season award in football (not talking just our club here but as in the BBC/Sky ones) there should be a best team goal and a best individual goal.

I remember when we should have won it in 09-10 for a team goal against Bolton, Anelka to Lamps to Deco to Drogba but instead the goal went to a belter from someone. I think it's a little unfair.

Gave it to Hazard, what a season.

Terry had been booked just once this season, in the league. That's mighty impressive for an old man who can't run and isn't letting much of anything past him.

He's also clocked up incredibly few fouls against him too - I can't remember how many it was but someone posted on here recently and it was a phenomenally low number.
