Petr Cech to Arsenal

Featured Replies

I was laughing today but I just can't wish pain on the big man at all.

Meh.

He's gone. His pain is also Arsenals now.

Won't change a jot what he did for us and his status here.

Has Cech now lost same number of home league games under Wenger as he did under Mourinho?"

Ha ha ..quality.

That is an unbelievable statistic! Can't really feel sorry for him. I hope he plays terribly for them. But he is still our best ever goalkeeper, club legend and a true gent.

I think he has lost more home league games under Wenger than Jose - my friend, who I trust to be right on all things Chelsea,  tells me that it was Schwarzer in goal against Sunderland when we lost.  I haven't checked but I assume he's right.

Makes it an even better stat!   :laugh2:  :laugh2:

Correct indeed!

Thats incredible. If there was ever a statistic to show the difference between Wenger and Jose thats it.

I love the guy but from the minute he put on the Arsenal shirt I wish him nothing but misery on the pitch.

going for aerial balls has always been his weakness. delighted to see him lose even in that fashion, like someone else said it wont make me change what i thought about him over here but for the future, i cant wish him any success at all

To be fair he probably needs more time to get locked in with his back four too. As much as I ended seeing them lose I won't expect it to be a super regular occurrence. If it does then I will be very happy indeed. Agent Cech!

After taunting us about courtois on Saturday this was so satisfying. To be honest, I never understood all the hype about how he was singlehandedly going to win them the league.

Am I the only one here who is hoping he does well?

He is not our player anymore, and I'll get angry when he performs brilliantly against Chelsea. But as long as he is not directly involved in a game as our opponent, I wish him some more quality years as a keeper.

No one said single handedly. He'll just be a hell of a lot more solid than szesnyeyeyyseg. Think how De Gea was keeping united in games last year.

Why? Ashley cole or drogba could easily have stayed in England but out of respect for the club they moved abroad. He clearly doesn't care about the fans so why should we care about him?

??????????? seriously ??? Not sure many Le Arse Fans would agree with you ........

They are sh*t fans anyway. How can you not understand that great players want to play for titles and trophies?

The fact is that other clubs showed interest in Cech, but he decided to join our rivals. That's when the respect ends on my side. I respect everything he's done for us over the years, but now that he's made the move, i hope he has a miserable time and wins absolutely nothing.

Yep you are right great players want to play for titles and trophies which is what Cech has done.

Given the opportunity not to up root a young family , change country , have to learn another language I would have done the same as Cech .

I wish him all the best and welcome the competition.

If we fail to improve and beat the challenge that's our fault not Cech's .

We want Arsenal to drop points this season - I don't care who he is, I'll definitely not be cheering Cech and Arsenal on no matter who they're playing, unless their winning benefits us in some way later on in the season.
