Honestly, if you want to enjoy this season in any way I would stop hoping for anything right now and be pleasantly surprised if we do well in one of the cups or something. It has been quite clear that for whatever reason the club is not that interested in retaining the league. We won the league last season but had clear issues that needed fixing and literally nothing has been done to address it. Furthermore, Jose will not make use of the squad throughout the season and is more interested in moaning than training a decent attacking system. I always thought we couldn't repeat last seasons methods because we'd be dead by Jan and other sides will pray on the weaknesses better even if they don't improve themselves. Well thanks to the transfer policy and poor preseason schedule we are already getting there. Let's just hope we can have a day out at Wembley sometime next year.  

I don't think I can even watch the West Brom game to be honest, this is depressing at the moment.

Well is exactly what most of us feared is it not? Jose and the boys have done nothing to prevent what we all could see would happen.

This feels very much like the start of the season that we ended up with Avram grant in charge...

 

We completly dropped the ball this summer with preperation and signings. Obvious concerns like the lack of creativity besides Hazard in attack, a good option to Matic and Fabregas in central midfield and our aging and slow defence have been overlooked. Instead we fail to get rid of a flop like Cuadrado and probably loaned a bigger one in Falcao. 

 

I won't be suprised if we struggle to get into CL this season to be honest and for us to blow our money in January instead on panic buys.

Open the f**king cheque book. Stop pissing about clearly the rivals investment has caught up with us.  August 31st the window closes; Baba is in, we need another CB, and get us a different option in attack. Freshness is needed players in the squad have comfort, they know they can play utter piss and start next week. Costa, Cahill. Matic, Hazard, Azpilicueta.

Stones and Baba in and we will be fine.
