Well a point from 2-0 is not bad, but being down by that in the first place against this rubbish side is poor.

Jose has to change something, but I fear this papers over the cracks for the tried and rested.

Jose needs to sort Ivan and Cesc out. I'd not knee jerk and demand Willian and Rami starting based on coming on against a tired and poor side to make a difference. If anything that's what their roll should be.

People can say knee jerk reactions all they want, but that was not good enough from us.

Obviously to say Jose should get sacked is ludacris & I admit to thinking Ramires & Willian wouldn't drag us back in to the game, I genuinely still am, but fair play to them.

We need changes midweek, the same old players just aren't performing & it's giving us a hell of a job to get back in to it.

The final result papers over just how bad that performance was IMO.

Ramires in and Fabregas out next game, not going to happen though. Not a massive Ramires fan as he's pretty limited as a footballer but at least he always gives it his all. Plus he occasionally scores a worldy.

Well, we haven't lost, but things have got to change. Defensively we are a shambles, and in midfield we don't have the legs or strength. Changing players and possibly formation may need to happen. Ramires played with heart and quality when he came on, maybe he is one of the players that needs to come in. He gave us the drive we needed to get back in the game.

 

For me, Ivanovic and Fabregas must be dropped, these performances cannot continue. If we continue like this, then top 4 is not going to happen for us.

F* useless team and manager. Let's be honest, it's 2 points lost and we didn't deserve any better from the game. There's no excuse to start the game so poorly again, and picking the same underperformed players. It's some luck at the end we got a point and saved Jose from the sack. Jose will probably play his best team on Tuesday and leave out Cesc and Ivan, rest assured they will be back to keep our blood pressure high against Southhampton.

 

I really fear and believe this will be a nothing but 'transition' season for us again. Hopefully we will have enough quality to get a top 4 finish and win a league or FA cup

Good come back. Newcastle is not an easy place to go to and they played to win.

Happily take the point after being 2-0 down. I think its the first time this group has recovered from a 2 goal deficit.

 

Need to pick it up fast. Cannot afford to be this slack and hope to finish in the top 4. The league is real upredictable this season.
