Yeah I was shocked at the lead too, I know they are the top club in that league but that gap is just ridiculous at this point in the season.

We on the other hand are in a dogfight to get up the table!

Atleast am happy it's not Juventus as that will get me worried because I won't know what to expect from them. PSG, well I think they will be worried about coming up against Hazard, Willian, Oscar, Costa and Jose.

I think we have the better squad to overcome them. I will only start having doubts if by February Fabregas is still struggling and Jose still play him nonetheless

Even last season we didn't have the better squad. They dominated us both legs, now they've got di maria also.

PSG again then, a bit boring but oh well. Arsenal getting Barcelona is funny though, that will be 6 years in a row going out at the same stage.

Not too bothered tbh. Need to be beaten the likes of psg if we want to win this, and if we get through, there is a couple of possibly easier games that could give us a nice route to the semi's.

Lets enjoy it, cause it might be the last champions league knock out game we play until 2018.

Not too disappointed with the draw,we can progress.PSG are a good side but on our day so are we.The game is a long way off and we have plenty of time to improve.Believe!

With this mentality, we would have changed the whole premier league system a few seasons after it's inception because the same teams were going to keep winning.  

We haven't even played the first round of KO and your tired of seeing great teams play against each other?  Tired of seeing two great teams like Chelsea and PSG play again.. have the previous ties been uneventful for you? Tired of seeing what Kiev could do against Man City.. notorious underperformers in this competition? Tired of seeing the champions of Italy play against the champions of Germany?  Tired of seeing what newcomers Gent can do in their first go at the KO stage?

This one is interesting. PSG will underestimate us, and we have a whole month to buy new players. Many people think this one is a no brainer but I think we have just as much of a chance to get through as them.

We just need to sign a LB in January so Azpilicueta can play his RB role and take care of Di maria because he is actually their most dangerous player and he can make the difference

We are the strong favourite and i don't see Chelsea beat PSG but the game is in 3 months now, so who knows ?

I'll start with the GK Kevin Trapp....well he is good gk, confident with is feet but he can make horrible mistakes like last night against Lyon that can cost us goals.

Our defenders are in an extraordinary form, Thiago Silva said that he's in the best form of his career, David luiz, well u know him. Maxwell is always clean but he's a bit slow and there's Aurier who's a beast physically, he's very impressive but defensively he's a bit weak, against Madrid all their scoring opportunities were coming from our RB, Marcelo gave him hell.

Our miedfield is really strong with Motta, Verrati who came back last night and he really is the new Xavi or Pirlo, but if you cut the link between these 2 we can't create bc Matuidi is strong, really involved can score important goals but his technique is not enough, plus Di Maria would be better instead of him.

Offensively, we have problems, Cavani plays left but when he controls the ball, he slows the game, my theory is that Cavani must always play in 1 touch bc he has a good vision but his technique is poor. He thinks too much, when the ball comes to him he panics and u saw that well during the matchs between PSG and Chelsea. Then there's Ibra who plays great at the moment and Di Maria who is the most dangerous player when he play as a center miedfield and not on his wing.

Finally, the biggest mistery of the WORLD is Javier Pastore, he is the Best play of PSG but i really don't understand what Blanc does with him, he didn't put him in the XI against Madrid whereas last year he was in the XI, plus with the reccuring injuries, he almost didn't play this year...

I have been surprised to see the amount of faith Blanc has been putting in Trapp. Admittedly I hadn't really ever seen him play before he went to PSG but I rate Sirigu fairly highly and feel he didn't need replacing. Does he seem like he has the level of potential to be worth putting a player as talented as Sirigu to one side?

 

I think you are building a fantastic side. Your first XI is incredible; Silva is the best centre back in the world on his day, your midfield is truly excellent (I have a particular soft spot for Matuidi) and di Maria was a magnificent signing. Man Utd were mugs not to persist with him! I agree with you that di Maria is at his best in the middle as well; I think we saw his best football when he played centrally under Ancelotti (in front of Alonso and Modric).

 

Even if we weren't playing as poorly as we have been domestically, I would still have you as favourites for this one.

Oh yeah Verrati, and excellent player but exceptionally annoying to come up against. Forgot you guys signed Di Maria, is a pretty formidable side you have put together there.
