Diego Simeone asked about Chelsea link, he replied "No comment, out of respect for everyone"

Interesting

I don't think Jose would have been sacked had a long term replacement not been lined up, surly not

long term means he has a 4 year plus contract, does not mean he will hang around. So far only one manager has ever survived a campaign without a trophy. Only 3 managers have even managed a full year at Chelsea since roman rocked up. It's actually now largely a job share activity

Antonio Conte could do a job for us if he's available

As I've said before, having watched his teams play on a regular basis (Juve and Italy) he is a poor man's Jose and would be a bad appointment. Boring, rigid, old style football is not a good watch.

It's going to interesting to see how this manager merry go round will play out.

Guardiola would probably need to address the full back situation if he came here, and I think he would be after another playmaker and a striker. Matic would most probably play centre back.

At city he would probably have the least work to do, although I'm not sure Fernando or Fernandinho would be his kind of centre midfielders.

If he ends up at United, I think he would have a hell of alot of work to do personnel wise.

In all likelihood he will go to city.

Hopefully we can get simeone, who I think will do well with out current set of players, and it would hopefully stop us needing to replace costa.

Chelsea - simeone

Arsenal - wenger

Man City - guardiola

Man United - Mourinho

Liverpool - klopp

It would make it a very interesting league for the next 2/3 seasons.

Pep will go to City, no question. It's the easier job. He took the easiest job he had on offer when he left Barcelona. Doesn't seem the sort to take on a challenge.

Duncan castles is bigging up Jose to United story. So i think in the next couple of days he will be their manager. With ancellotti to bayern, and pep to city. Our options

will be Simeone,Bielsa,and Pocchetino.

Bielsa will go to Swansea almost surely :/ which is sad for me.

However, the one we need, maybe is already in England..and playing against Klopp atm :)

Yep, likes the finished article IMO.

I do wonder if there is a small possibility, depending on how he does, that Hiddink could stay on even if it's just for another year (well let's face it that's a pretty good stint here).

I have absolutely no idea who our next full time manager will be.

He'll be 70 by the end of the season won't he? I can't imagine he'll stick with management much longer.

If Simeone comes, expect Godin, Koke and Griezmann. Them three have been excellent all year. Griezmann has scored in the last 4 consecutive league games. All important goals too.

if simeone comes, expect his crazy headcase assistant too lol

A poor mans Jose still wins trophies.

to be fair, pellegrini hasn't really put a foot wrong with city. he has had injuries to key players that he's had to work through and still managed to do well. i feel both him and mancini haven't been fairly treated by city.

Plus you can pay him in Werther's Originals.

I'd be a bit disappointed if we get Simeone, Very Similar ethic/approach to Jose. I thought the club hierarchy wanted to play a more expansive brand of football.

City should be first with the team they've got. No question.

KDB alone is good enough to drag any team to the top if you listen to some of the members on here.
