He's really tried to hold on to every last strand there.  Hasn't even gone the Cambiaso "it's happening so I might as well go with it" vibe.

Reading between the lines he is implying the current cannot be expected to go from finishing mid table to finishing in the top four.

Sounds like Conte is pretty pissed about our transfer failings to me. I bet he understands this squad is going to fall apart anytime soon without the proper reinforcements. And he isn't getting them.

He's letting the board know that if they don't back him then there wont be any real title challenge.

Reading between the lines like FC said above it looks like we have let him down somewhat with our business so far.

Seems the lessons of JM demise haven't been learnt...let's see ME blame Conte for this one...palpable discord...yeah right

Dont get that vibe at all, seems like hes frustrated with what he called unreasonable fees for average players.

Well that's how it goes...Arsenal are paying €10m above the buy out clause for Mustaphi...if the board wants Conte to achieve his targets then they need to continue to back him as they've done with Kante and Bats...if they don't, then as Conte has said today, this squad finished 10th and it would be unreasonable to expect him to challenge for the top 4 unless it's significantly improved...the other title chasing clubs have done so...
