Alvaro Morata

And what's the actual point in recalling Tammy??? Michy is lot better. We just need to give him playing time.

Don't think anyone on here would argue with that but does conte trust him or will he favour a false 9 formation with a fluid front 3 which is bs in my opinion unless you have the front 3 of a Psg or real!

For the moment Michy have answered when he played, except in PL where he not score again. So i think Conte trust him, mostly that we will not play a big team in the forthcoming games except Roma.

Think he needs to be given benefit of the doubt as he is still new to PL and coming back from injury BUT have to say when he's bad he stinks the place out.

That's two matches on the trot now where he started well but faded and the body language isn't good. Falls over more than a 2 year old and at times almost looks to just give up. This is where you could do with a JT or Lamps to still be around to have a word with him.

I'm a huge fan of Morata and I was desperate for us to sign him in the summer. I still think he needs time to adjust and get used to the PL. he's started very well for us all things considered, but I don't think I've ever seen him go down so much and so easily over the years I've watched him. He really needs to get stronger if he's going to make it long term here. I have no doubt he will over time but as someone mention it needs some ala Cahill to sit down with him and explain he's going to get these kicks and knocks in this league and just falling over won't win you the free kick.

Hazard would probably be the best player to speak with him about it when you see the difference between now and when he first came to the club.

He spent the entire game trying to win a free kick high up the pitch, unfortunately he overdid it, mixing real fouls and soft contact so he got zero benefit of the doubt.

It's no surprise when we changed him, Michy won one immediately.

Looks to me that often he leaves the ball if he thinks Chelsea will get the throw-in or possibly win a free-kick, nothing wrong with that though if he does it too much he will ruin the pace of the game. You need to adapt to the refs.

One poor game after an injury and all of a sudden he's the second coming of Torres? I'm lost for words...

No-one is saying that. And it isn't one poor game - he wasn't great against Roma either. Just needs to learnt to adapt and at the vrey least stay on his feet and not keep going to ground so easily.

I think he isn't again to his better level, but not forget that normally his pass in the game against Watford for Fabregas is world class, but Fabregas has messed up that.

Happy Birthday by the Way, today he has 25 !

Where has anyone said that? Stop making things up. Just acknowledging he isn’t in great form and needs to make minor changes to his game.

He didn't have much trouble staying on his feet against Stoke, of all teams. You're not wrong. He was poor against Roma as well, which is certainly understandable considering he's just back from injury and the going to ground too easily bit, while frustrating, is also somewhat justifiable seeing as he's worried about aggravating his hamstring.

Overall he's been bloody fantastic for us so far. Without a doubt the most promising striker we've had since Drogba. Granted, it will take him some time to fully adapt to the league as well as our style of play, but we've got a special player on our hands, and two poor games after being rushed back into the starting eleven shouldn't cloud our judgement.

Posts like this are just as bad as people saying he's the second coming of Torres, do you know why? Because nobody has said that.

Everyone on here should know I'm a big Morata fan and I've been hyping him up since we've signed him. But I've seen nothing but constructive criticism after his Watford game, which is only fair. This is healthy criticism, give people their due, otherwise, we are just putting people in the same bracket as those who call Cahill a "spastic" after an average game.

Fair enough, just felt like some were being a wee bit too harsh on him

I seem to remember Drog spending half his time rolling about on the floor in his first season or two and he turned out all right.

Do two wrongs make a right? He needs to stand up and let his skill do the talking, refs have already sussed him out.
