Would rather take Defoe on a year-long deal or stick with Remy if he can be rejuvenated under Conte.

I honestly think we've burnt our bridges with Remy, would he honestly want to stay when he could realistically move to Turkey, China or the US and still get team football.

Defoe had a good season at Sunderland last year but lets be honest he wouldn't improve is enough.

It's obvious to me that you have never seen Morata play aside from looking up his goal stats on wikipedia.

Pass on Morata for that price.

There's a lot of good strikers available that are near as good for far less.

He may in fact already be a Chelsea player as we have a few young ones that could fill that role.

We already have Batshuaiy so we need to add another older more experienced striker and have a young 4th option.

To be fair it's not as if Real are hugely stocked with options at centre-forward; other than Benzema the only other striker they have is Jesé. With the addition of Morata they would have a pretty good amount of strength in depth.

Madrid dropped out of the race for Pogba and therefore saw no need to raise funds and decided to keep the player. This isnt penny pinching on our part but just respecting another club's decision. Hardly any fault in that.

to be fair if Conte actually expects us to buy Morata for 75mill, that's definitely a ridiculous wish and the board has every right to say no

He's a good technical player, would partner well with Costa I reckon, small and agile with good feet, pretty quick. I'd take him for a good price.

Milik for one is much better than Morata. If we buy Morata, when superior and vastly cheaper options are on the table... damn...
