I know you have a problem with my opinion of your special one however, as I've said from the very beginning. This is a forum, a thread for his past, present and future to be discussed.

Anyway, that was a very very poor retort from you if you genuinely agree with Ray Wilkins.

Great article

Of course. It is what you would expect from your Manager but there is a way of doing it.

Some of his comments are coming across as quite bizarre  - bordering on the insane!!

To be fair you do need a humongous distraction to deflect the headlines from Pogba's (non-)performance...

Another great article on the subject:

http://www.espn.co.uk/football/club/chelsea/363/blog/post/3082077/why-chelsea-fans-have-turned-on-jose-mourinho-as-legacy-turns-sour

"In the fullness of time, maybe when Mourinho has departed England, perhaps Chelsea supporters will unify to reminisce fondly about their love for the "Special One" and the silverware-lined glory of his madness. Right now though, it's all about Conte -- a new passion, a new true love. And true love conquers all: including Mourinho and Manchester United."

::clap2::

Are fans going to chant against Carlo if we meet Bayern next season? Of course not. I dare say fans will give Rafa a respectful reception if he takes his bar code army to the bridge next year. It's about give and take, Jose likes to dish it out, sometime he gets a bit back.

Mourinho's interview after the game today was odd.

It's just a lot of rubbish really. It's the kind of stuff he was coming out with in his last season with us. He's doing it earlier with United though.

I haven't been paying much attention to Mourinho's words this season because i can't really be bothered with it all, so i don't know if this is the norm this season from him.

"Playing one match per week like some of them have since the beginning of the season, they don't know what fatigue is, they don't know what accumulation is.."

I guess he's going to be saying the same thing in every interview now? It's getting pretty boring I must say.

Gotta turn that narrative in his favor. Oh we hardly beat Rostov 1-0 at home? We have so many injuries and so many matches and enemies its incredible we won. All our players are fantastic and no other club could do this but we did.

Its almost Trump like. Some will say we didn't play well. WRONG. We were fantastic. So many enemies. Fantastic.

Baffling post-match interview by Jose. He acts like they're the first team to ever have any fixture congestion.

He talks totally differently in relaxed interviews, almost as if the persona he shows to the media is not the real thing.

He's taking the siege mentality to a different level now, everyone includes all the other 19 clubs in the league, the FA, referees, UEFA are all enemies of the great Manchester United. The United people aren't going to like this. They have been poster child of the league for the last 20 years, ' Fergi time' and ' No penalty at OT' rules are invented for them.

What's the point of brining up LVG's transfer? Conte or Hiddink didn't complain when they had to deal with KDB, the best player Jose has sold. If Webcke stayed, he'd be on-loan to sunderland now. He spent more time in his sick bed than training let alone playing, LVG was right on that one.

And Filipe Luis, and Lukaku and you can go on and on.

He's such a whiner, Roy Keane ripped into him last night and he hit the nail on the head for me.

Have to say i'm glad he's not here anymore. His paranoia has reached new levels now.

What did Keane say?

Wouldn't you say the opposite was more likely? He is better equipped to put on an act when he is relaxed.

What end is he trying to serve anyway? Is he trying to fool their own fans? "1-0 was a great result because we are more tired than anyone has ever been so don't be hard on us" Is he trying to reach out to everyone but their fans? Not going to work with petulant interviews.

That interview had the highest number of excuses and complaints per unit time that I have ever seen.

I really want Mourinho to win the Europa league. I know he doesn't have much of a choice but it's admirable how serious he's taken it and it would be nice to see a Mourinho team in the champions league. They'd definitely go further than the ones who represented us this year.

I think they will win it tbh, don't know about anyone else but if you're not gonna win the league I'd rather finish 5th or 6th with a Europa League trophy than finish 2nd-4th with no trophies.

Yeah absolutely. Win a European trophy and automatic qualification to champions league seems perfect to me. I can see him probably prioritizing the Europa league now over the league. They're by far the strongest team left in the competition.

Mourinho can moan about a fixture pile up but he has some good players there he refuses to use like Shaw and Carrick. When you would prefer to bring Fellani on instead of Carrick and play Blind LWB and then bring on Jones come on that doesn't make sense.

Rashford, Lingard, Young and Darmian dont play much and they are good. They can all be used when there's alot of fixtures.

Everyone seems to have assumed that the tournament is theirs to lose. Given their previous performances, I see a tough road ahead for them. They just stumbled past the worst team left in the tournament.

Some pretty decent teams left in the tournament.

I watched that game last night and Robbie Savage was giving Mourinho lessons in management.

They played 3 at the back but Rojo and Bailey would never push forward with the ball into the empty space. They literally had 3 players back against 1 forward and at some points they had more players back than forward. It was so frustrating to watch so god knows how the Utd fans feel.

Savage was spot on with his comments. Everyone could see it wasn't working. Then when Blind got injured Savage said go 4 at the back and put Rashford up top. Mourinho put Jones at LWB.

He also continues to demonstrate his habitual mistrust of "flair" players ... apart from Ibrahimovic.

Minutes played in PL : Martial 877, Mkhitaryan 885, Rashford 1075, Mata 1317 ... vs Ibrahimovic on 2250 minutes.

Not rocket science that they're not scoring many goals when he only has his best offensive players on the pitch for half the time they could be playing ...

Further compounded by the absolution from blame of the favoured Ibrahimovic, ignoring the fact that Zlatan needs 7 chances for every goal he scores, vs 4 chances per goal for Lukaku, Kane, and Costa at other clubs. And Zlatan had the cheek to call out Juan Mata on the quality of his finishing LOL
