February 5, 20179 yr I'm not sure I have ever seen anything like this guy, Maka was great but one of his big strengths was positional awareness which I think was second to none, kante just seems everywhere, wins every loose ball and seems to be able to nick an all of a players toes when I would think he should just be standing of them.
February 5, 20179 yr just see kante interviewed on MOTD, i thought who is this kid? he looks about 16 !!
February 5, 20179 yr He's prefect against a team like Arsenal. Everytime they move the ball into the dangerous zone, Kante pushes up and they pass it sideways or back, repeat that 102 times. It's like a 1 man shield.
February 6, 20179 yr Author I want to see him scoring soon, I will never forget his goal against Man United and the celebration with the team. He deserves it all! Edited February 6, 20179 yr by IliyaKrostin
February 6, 20179 yr Did anyone see The Sun's player ratings from the weekend? They managed to give Kante a 6/10 haha. Was i watching a different game to them or something?

February 6, 20179 yr I like Kante and Conte's relationship. LOL. Conte was seen lambasting assistant first-team coach Angelo Alessio after a key moment in the first-half and the Italian admitted it was because Kante had failed to track back. When asked about the incident, Conte told Sky Italia: ‘When I see something that isn’t going right, I am capable of murdering anyone! http://metro.co.uk/2017/02/06/chelsea-boss-antonio-conte-criticises-ngolo-kante-after-victory-over-arsenal-6429628/

February 7, 20179 yr Blashaphey or the Gospel from Andy Gray - Kante >>> Makalele? Edited February 7, 20179 yr by robdog
February 7, 20179 yr No way he's better than Maka yet. Let's get back to this when he has won a number of PL and a few CL trophies, dominating midfields for years and years... Then again, he's a completely different player than Maka. They are both short, bald, black and play dm but the similarities end here, their playing styles don't match at all. It's a pointless comparison.
February 7, 20179 yr Makelele was playing at the top level for a very very long time and was successful throughout that time. Kante is just getting started. It's far too early to say he is better than Makelele.

February 7, 20179 yr What a fantastic player Kante is, his presence has helped our transformation no end
February 7, 20179 yr Kante and Makalele are different type of players despite similar physical appearance, I don't see the Maka roles fits Kante that well, and Maka couldn't make up that much ground like Kante either. If we are playing against a park the bus type of team, probably could leave Maka out for a more attack minded midfielder, but still pick Kante for his energy and all round game
February 10, 20179 yr Can't wait to see Kante in the Champions League next season manhandling the likes of Veratti and Modric.
February 10, 20179 yr Imagine if Very, Mahrez and Kante had all left Leicester... Most would still be undecided about who their most important player was. Good experiment this is. Still feel bad for Leicester though, what a miss.
February 11, 20179 yr Quote One gets the feeling that Kanté leads a fairly monotonous life. Eat, sleep, tackle.

It's a tough one because we were a title-winning side before Kante came to us. All we needed was some rejuvenation and we got that from our manager, so if I had to credit one person for our season so far it would be the person that orchestrated it all. Kante and Luiz have just played their roles exceptionally well.
