February 25, 20179 yr by looking at the fortunes of Leicester City & Chelsea these past two seasons, one constant is This Guy should be called The King Maker Edited February 25, 20179 yr by robdog
February 25, 20179 yr incredible player but needs to improve on his passing , maybe a few personal training sessions with fabregas could help but then again what a player he is

February 25, 20179 yr I couldn't watch the game today, but from what I've heard Kante was again in seriously good form. I am really glad for him, he is a contender for POTY, terrific player. transfermarker.co.uk value him at £34m now which puts him level with Verratti. I think that's accurate, but having one such player is not an excuse to not go for another one Edited February 25, 20179 yr by PythonLu

You'd be surprise to know the worst passer among those 6..

February 27, 20179 yr He's just an unique player, the speed he closes in on the ball carrier, and the ability to steal the ball is just unreal. Sometimes my eyes really believed there are 2 of him out on the field. If his passing is a bit better and scores the occasional goal, he'd be a 100M player. I think the issue with Matic/Kante combination is both of them have to win tackles, pass, and run forward. With Cesc in the team, Kante only needs to focus on what he knows best, and let Cesc runs the show.

Yes occasionally he'll misplace a pass but who doesn't?

Makelele doesn't believe that Kante is at his level yet - Maka doesn't believe Kante is doing enough in the leadership role - he may have a point & can see where Maka is coming from - when Maka first came to CFC, the club was simply 2nd best - Maka did help CFC goto the next level - don't get me wrong, CFC was solid before Maka came, but the club did become World Beaters with Maka's arrival - IMHO the same could be said about Kante - CFC were 10th last season & the team that Kante was on were Champions - now CFC are top of the Table & Leicester are struggling - many point to the transfer of Kante - I am one that agrees w/ this assessment - maybe Maka is becoming a bit cranky in his old age & doesn't like the comparison of Kante & himself Edited February 28, 20179 yr by robdog

There were many very good games by Kante, but right now Makelele's legacy is still a bit bigger.

March 1, 20179 yr Author Not sure if I agree with Makelele's statement about Kante's leadership. Kante is very kind and quiet player and he is not a leader by talking and motivating. He's leader by his game, he has the ability to push the team forward and his effort is always something that can awake the team.
March 1, 20179 yr That was never a foul that lead to the equaliser. Crazy decision looking at it again.
