March 21, 20179 yr So question to the Shed Enders. Will Kante be able to maintain his high level of performance once he is playing two games a week. For his two seasons in England he's mostly only played once a week and I imagine it is much easier to play the way he does when you've got a week's recovery time... Will he have to adapt his game next year?

The problem for me would be if he picks up in injury then who would come in to do his job? Of course we are never going to get a player like him in terms of what he brings but the likes of Matic and Cesc are nowhere near as efficient as Kante and I'd like us to add another central mid into the mix.

March 21, 20179 yr It's got nothing to do with Barton's own ability. You can have your own views from home so why can't someone who made it professionally but who wasn't that good not have a view? Personally I think people have Kante goggles on , but he's still been very good and if being one of the top performers in a tough league two years in a row in what could be back to back titles is not at the very least consistent, then I don't know what is.

His stamina will help rob good teams of possession but in terms of keeping the ball, creating/carving chances and shooting from distance, does not those abilities. Remember, it was not too. It was just 1-2 days before we played them that he was claiming Kante was the best CM in the league so I don't think he said anything that shocking. He genuinely has a point. He is talking as a whole in Europe that he would not call him the best CM in the world. March 23, 20179 yr Frank Leboeuf said he's timid and not a leader, not a ‘boss’ on the pitch. With all due respect, who cares? He isn't vocal enough and he isn't captain material, not every player is, I don't see how him being shy makes him a worse player.
