Makes Matic look even more clumsier than he is.
August 4, 20169 yr loved how more assured we looked in possession with kante in front of the defence. his presence in midfield seemed to cause milan to misplace passes. bring in a solid centre back to replace cahill and a lb, and i would be confident in our defensive capabilities.

August 7, 20169 yr He played really well today IMO, knicking in and winning possession sometimes with just a toe, chasing things down. Reminds me of Matic in his prime but faster. I think he's going to prove to be one of the best if not the best signing of the summer.

Ramires used to frustrate me in just charging in without involving some sort of brain processing, well that day has gone hola.. btw kante looks like the black dude in johny english the movie, the mr.bean's partner.. Their resemblance is quite overwhelming..

How he can't recognise as well how much of a steal Kante is at 25 million is stupid, trying to say that Matic is a better passer, is he mad?

Hes not exactly critisizing us, hes just saying we havent made a marquee signing to show out intent to challenge for the title, which is correct and that Pogba is not enough of a gamechanger to be worth what United paid. Imo thats also correct. I dislike Souness as much as anyone but this is hardly upsetting stuff

August 8, 20169 yr One thing he will definitely improve is our transition from defence to attack. Last season we just never able to got the ball out of defence accurately to our attackers, it's either lost in possession or aimless balls downfield straight to defenders. Kante seemed to be so comfortable with the ball, able to put the pass in and start off the attack with speeds and accuracy. I reckon we could do some serious damage if early ball could be provided to the likes of Hazard in space.
