I honestly think last night might have been the best game he has had for the club. Not just the goal but he was everywhere. Box to box created options, broke the lines and did all he normally does.

Surely this shuts up those who want him to play as a dm. 

Great performance last night and gets extra credit for cleaning out Rose after the whistle went.

The big snap on Rose was glorious, i took great pleasure from watching him roll about in pain. Viva La Kante.

It shows how good of a overall footballer he is he takes people on dribbles and beats his man, he can become one of the best all-rounder in midfield

I thought he was phenomenal yesterday, but I’d still prefer him more central. Obviously, there is no such role in Sarri’s current setup and Kante is doing well but he’s even better when he’s playing more central.

He still isn't even adapted to the position fully yet. People need to give it time. He isn't going to become super efficient in the position yet until he's played there consistently for a period of time. He's played in a different position for the last 3/4+ seasons, so it will need time for him to continue improving. This is a transition season for a few players. Another one is Azpilicueta, he is also adapting to being a RB in Sarri's system too. He is improving also.

To be fair you just described the entire Spuds team.

As well as his goal, he also laid on 2 fantastic chances in the second half for giroud and hazard. 

I think he has really grown into the role, that's 4 for the season already, when so many fans and pundits claimed he wouldn't be a goal scoring threat. Wijnaldum and sissoko play a similar role at Liverpool and spurs, and they only have 1 between them!

Perfect way to put it. There is no position for him in the current system and it should not be changed right now if the club has long term ambitions to play expansive football. As Sarri has said, once he sees the players fully understanding the system then maybe we will see a change - perhaps a 2 man midfield where Kante thrives. 6 months and no preseason is not enough.

That was moment of the night for me. Showed grit and fight that normally lacks in our team. Rose pushing him away and not getting a free kick was ridiculous. I loved his tackle, like a fighting bulldog. We need to add that a bit to our play.
