Fair enough but two of those players hardly featured. Their impact was minimal.

But we didn`t have CL right ? It will be a lot tougher season and a lot longer. You need a lot of options or you are doomed. And last season we have almost zero injuries.

And now we are with 2 injuries, even before the start of the season ....

Well in my opinion bakayoko is a much better player than matic all be it less experience, RLC was a striker apparently 

But for me sanches and baker would be a better pair than Nat and RLC, for me it's a stronger midfield and more diverse skill wise.

He is 19 in a team stacked full of tallent, if he leaves that's why, but he isn't like fabregas that's a strange comparison, he is quick, powerful, skilful on the ball, burst of pace and a decent passer but no where near as good as cesc.

For Chelsea he would be the next in line if we had a CM injury, cesc at his age and in this set up is more of an impact sub for stubborn teams or a tactical inclusion, vest starting in a double pivot doesn't work very well as we have seen, sanches is good enough to start for us you saw him play us a week ago, he can handle big games as you saw at the euros, so he certainly has more of a chance to play with us than Bayern, a loan to a club like Chelsea where you will receive top level coaching, high pressure games and game time would be very attractive for him. 

Would be an great signing even if it's just on loan the guy has the potential to be one of the very best. Besides with matic seemingly on the way out and RLC & Chalobah gone we are desperately short for depth in midfield.

Certainly need 1 or 2 more midfielders and I think he's a pretty good all-round centre midfielder and will only get better considering hes so young. Don't think he'd be a starter though which is the reason he's keen to leave so whether or not it will happen i'm unsure.

At this stage with only 2 solid, proven first team CMs as it looks like Matic is gone i'd take anyone to be fair!

I agree with you there, he could have potential

I don't know if he's moving to be honest the board seem to have done a 180 since the start of the preseason....

Would seem an odd signing for us considering he would be stuck on the bench and wouldn't get in ahead of bakayoko next to kante. He's been pretty inconsistent from what some bayern fans have said about him last season.

He hasn't had enough game time to be consistent or inconsistent but as for us taking him if one of bakayoko or Kante get injured we are left playing a very good passer but the most passive DM in world football or an unproven youth, sanches is an able replacement. Plus he gives us a legitimate option for rotation, CM players run non stop if you don't rotate with 4 competitions they burn out, proper rotation not 20 mins off or a cup game here and there.

Strange one. Loan with an option to buy would be good for both parties but a loan with no option only benefits Munich.

Or is Conte that desperate for quality additions that this is an easy way of the board placating him?

I actually think this is a great move for us. Young, promising player that can fill in a blank this season with a potential option to buy.

Only reason this makes sense is if we have another target we cannot get this season but could get next season, a bit like signing Etoó for the one year knowing we could get Costa the following season.
