Does this mean that Zidane became something like a best manager ever?

It’s funny but when people talk of world class managers, Zidiane doesn’t get mentioned.

FFS was that a Benny Hill show?? What a laugh! Karius will be on the next Mr Bean film.

Yeah didn't feel like a CL final, the tension wasn't there, just comedy

Bale sounds like he's open to returning to the PL.

Unfortunately, I don't think he'd choose us with no CL football. Off to Manchester i suspect.

Amongst all the jokes, I thought Liverpool played well and were very unlucky with Salah going off. I reckon they may have gone on to win that.

As funny as all that was, I think it was a bit sh*tty that not 1 Liverpool player went over to Karius after the game. I know he f**ked up royally (twice) but he's still their teammate.

Bale definitely wants to leave, he's just increased his value and don't think we can compete with no CL either. Man Utd bound I reckon

Np he is injured for the majority of the season anyway

don't have a winning pedigree so i'm not sure they would have

You're probably right unfortunately

You'll never walk alone they say.... U less you have a poor game, then f**k you. Henderson was a disgrace as a captain.

It would have been more of a match, Real dominated after he went off and I was sure they were going to lose after watching 10 mins of the second half

Another slippy G moment for Liverpool. Truly great teams can perform despite nerves and pressure. The commentators say "you can't prepare for that" but you can, it's the managers job to keep their heads on straight.

Not a big fan of Real (Ronaldo was petulant as hell throwing a hissy fit when Bale took on a hatrick chance at 3-1 up and was only denied by a great tackle) but I'm glad for Bale after the crap he gets from the Real fans and management.

Liverpool never really recovered from the Salah injury. If you rely on a single player so heavily you're always going to find yourself suffering from 'bad luck'. Outside of the Mane header they didn't look as threatening as they should have done for a team that stacks its attack.

Not one of the Liverpool players has gone to the goalkeeper. It is the Real Madrid players.
