November 5, 20178 yr So where do you guys think Ozil and Sanchez are going? Edited November 5, 20178 yr by DidierDrogbalala
November 5, 20178 yr Ozil will probably stay, he's got it easy at Arsenal. Sanchez will go to City and they will win the quadruple.

November 5, 20178 yr I haven't kept up to date with Serie A this season and i just looked at the table, AC Milan are 8th, 16 points away from 1st. So much for the money bringing them back to their glory days. I wonder if Bonucci is starting to regret that move now.

He did the whole Messi-Clasico thing with his shirt, probably not the smartest idea given the depth of the rivalry. Fair bit of pyro in the stands. Edited November 5, 20178 yr by Charles Ryder

I thought it was extremely soft as shoulder to shoulder should be allowed in football and his final touch in order to win the penalty took it out of his control and straight at Cech. Having said that the defending by Arsenal was chaotic.

November 6, 20178 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41702779 Bilic sacked. Not a great surprise.

It was at high speed, but that is very very soft, when you look at the legs of the replay, Sterling just drops down, no trip, just a nudge, a defender has to have contact. If we're giving penalties for that then we need to be giving a penalty every week.

If Sterling's touch takes the ball out for a goal kick is that a penalty? As for me they are the same thing, as Sterlings touch loses him the ball. By knocking the ball inside straight to Cech he is in no more control than if he had knocked it out of play. The sinic in me makes me think Sterling is deliberately try to make it look like a foul and buy a penalty. And I don't think Monreal should do much different. What else is he supposed to do there back off and let time score. If that wasn't given as a pen it would have been called great defending, putting him under pressure etc. Using your logic if that was Azpi against Rashford would you have thought it was a pen.

Please have a look. 5:20 onwards. The ball is very much in sterling's control. After which the contact comes in. That too from behind. The ref had every right to give that as a pen. so if this was azpi on rashford and no penalty was given, i would have considered us very very lucky
November 6, 20178 yr Thought the 2 goals by City were soul destroying. The Sterling pen was soft but you can see why it was given and similarly understandable if it wasn't given so it's a coin toss. The 3rd goal was clear offside since Silva was in front of the linesman and his leg was the furthest forward. Morata's goal wasn't counted against Bournemouth but Silva's goal vs Arsenal was? Officiating gets poorer every season. That being said, Pep has drilled this team really well. Always on the move, stick to basics, give the ball to the best players. It looks simple but the training must've been brutal

November 6, 20178 yr You gotta laugh, the Hammers wanted rid of Allardyce several seasons ago even though he got them back to the EPL and kept them up yet they were not entertained though the thought of Moyes going there must be driving many of them crazy.
