Well it's just game one of 38..maybe the board will wake up and buy some players. Morata was great so that's a positive 

I thought we were good after morata came on, i loved the rocky-like feeling of the last 20 minutes, that was pretty epic effort level at the end. yes 1st half was a disaster and some of the second but i dont feel negative at all, that was a war and we went out ALL GUNS BLAZING!!!!!!!!!!! we had them on the back foot 2 men down we can do this. i feel positive.

The players showed fight but were let down by poor decisions.

Absolutely f**king disgraceful, I've never wanted to punch someone in the face as much as I want to do to Pawson now. Media will be full of the Burnley were the better side w**kfest; no they weren't, Pawson ruined the game. Full credit to the lads, to get it back to 3-2 while down to 9 is nothing to be sniffed at. And nice to see that when it mattered, Morata came onto the pitch, and turned the game on its head.

At least we weren't humiliated, great spirit, almost did the impossible, considering the circumstances it's a loss I can live with we showed why we are champions in the second half 

How was Rudiger btw? People saying he played well but obviously not watching the game.

Not sure what to make of that game really. Looks good to start, total disaster for about 25 mins after the red. Then easily won the second half with 1/2 men down.

f**ked for the next few games though. Kante and...who in CM?!?

absolutely disgusting officiating. no offside for that 2nd goal which could have given us so much momentum going into the latter end of the game. fabregas lunging in like an idiot though, i just don't understand what goes through his head sometimes; he does it way too often.

Poor from fabregas, should've used his experience and not dived in, and getting booked for dissent is poor anyway. 

Really need to bring in 2 or 3 players asap.

There are no positives to be taken from this game whatsoever. None. And what is worse is that everyone could see this happening all summer except by those that matter. Unfortunately however I was assuming this was going to happen next weekend. Once again though its against a workmanlike team who play for each other

It is not the fault of the players as their respective characters are what they are. The point is that the board should recognise the fact that we have no ruthless players at the club. It should not just be about speed, passing and finishing. We have to look at the mental qualities of players as well.

This season is going to be nightmare and what is worse is that it is of our own making. The media is going to have a field day. God alone knows where this is going to end up. 2015 was awful, last season could have gone either way after the Arsenal game and now this. There is a trend here and the club needs to address it. Build a team. Build a squad.
