Here's our PL games after each CL tie

week 1 - Arsenal at home

week 2 - City at home

week 3 - Watford at home

week 4 - Man United at home

week 5 - Liverpool away

week 6- West Ham away

Hopefully matchday 1 3 and 6 are Wednesday game's and 2 4 and 5 Tuesday.

Good draw that, Roma are a team rebuilding after losing their talisman and Madrid are a team we can certainly beat. God only knows how borats team will do.

sh*t draw, 2nd toughest group but we can do it, I believe. Utd, Liverpool and arguably City should get through. Lets see Jose moan about fixtures now lmao.

I don't wanna draw barca til Messi retires so we can keep the messi never scoring against us stat. I highly doubt that stat sticks if we face them again

Messi has also never scored against Burnley

Messi hasn’t played a team and not scored as much as Chelsea.

Or anywhere near as much. 7 games I think?

its an interesting record.

Yea I agree, I was just being cheeky,  can't be as many as 7 though?

Wish I saw that sooner I was just counting them came back to correct myself, seems like a lot, he is 30 mind you, we drawed them 4 times since he was in the first team playing CL since 2005/2006 so 8 games, believe he missed one by injury, so yea, it is a good record considering his scoring abilities and the team he plays in.

Nice of you to do that on your typewriter then scan it in for us :good2::biggrin: The good news all the tough games we have our opponents will be playing in Europe too that week so it's just as bad for them, albeit probably not as many times against top 6 as us and probably not against as hard opponents...and with bigger squads, yea ok that good news slowly tapered off.

So how is it that teams that won their league get a harder draw than teams who squeezed in 4th and a even a team that finished 6th? This is supposedly the "Champions" league.

Looks like if you want to go further in the competition you're actually better of not winning your domestic league :laugh2:
