f**king despise that shrek c**t Rooney!!

Willian has been poor again. He keep's trying to take people on in the middle, but then refuses to do it when he is on the edge of the penalty area. He's got his attacking instincts all backwards.

mine keeps stalling every few seconds, really pissing me off. 

Perfect example of our issues on the counter when Michy almost had that shot a few moments ago We turned it over and four players stood and did nothing. Ampadu comes forward to close down and Everton are off to the races.

Why is Everton not pressing. Way too easy for us.

Rudiger has had another very good half so far. Defending is calm and reliable and his passing is really positive.

Can I just stress again how bloody good Rudiger is. He wins everything, makes every decision correctly and does not misplace a single ball. 

Willy having a shocker again...i think he has lost every ball hes got. 

Musonda exposed for what he is a 22 year old in a 12 year olds body. Havin a shocker.

I heard they wanted "Sky Blue" for their new kit but Everton being from up north had little to go on. 

Nothing from Everton first half. Wonder if they will change second half?

 

rudiger has been the best player so far for us.

 

Great header by Rudiger. Otherwise Musonda couldn't recieve a pass to sace his life. Bats was good. D was excellent but unworked. Danny was composed.

Most of all Everton looks sh*t. No passion, no idea.. Nothing. Hope they stay that way.

I think the midfield two and defence have looked good. Willian and bats should be stepping up more though

Comfortable first half from us, nothing flashy, just getting the job done. Rudiger and Zappacosta are the stand out players so far.

Willian and Musonda are struggling. Willian's form is still as bad as it has been all season and Musonda just doesn't look physically up to the task right now.

Drinkwater has played like a no nonsense type of player. Nothing flashy, just keeps it tidy and keeps things calm, maybe that is what we need right now in midfield.

Everton are so bad... I really feel that they will be fighting to stay in the PL. 

Rudiger + midfield excellent. Good close control by Bats. Musonda and Willian need to up their games.

I'm liking the look of Drinkwater so far. Keeps it simple with good vision.

I wouldn't say it was a bad half, it's clear that we're the better team on the pitch. We're doing the things right, we would be much stronger if Kenedy would attack like Zappacosta does. Our power comes from the sides, we're worth more here. 

I think Batshuayi had a good half, he need now to focus more on finding the net, be more available for long balls and crosses, his ball protection is very good and he showed some nice technique. He was very positive this half, Musonda and Willian have to do more. I won't lie, I'm one of the fans that want to see more and more youth, but Musonda didn't impress me this half, he tries to keep the ball more than needed. Ampadu has a quiet game, had some good inceptions to stop the counter attacks by Everton. Drinkwater is having a good game as well, we can see his hard working on the pitch.

But our best player is Rudiger, what a header. If Ronaldo or any other top class player would've scored that, then the world would talk about that much more. Fantastic header, great movement and brilliant defending.
