Piss poor penalties

Denmark didnt deserve to lose.....they did the Danes proud.

On paper, England really should be making the semi final at least.......but their knockout round record is shocking, so i would not be in the slightest bit surprised if we cock it up.

Funny isn't it, two cracking matches on Saturday settled in normal time and then today two boring matches going to penalties.

So David De Gea is The World's Best GK (as told by the dirty red), but he only saves 1 shot the entire tournament

We are currently rated one place above Colombia and one place below Switzerland, have a shocking record against Sweden. We have a good chance of getting to the semi-final but equally so do the others. 

Suddenly the expectations increased on all the teams in our half of the group. Before the tournament we'd all have accepted a quarter final has having done well, it probably still is.

I don't like the look of the contemporary goalkeeper. Fancy saves, lots of stars, cocky behavior but still plenty of mistakes, strange decisions and poor keeping at times.

De Gea, Courtois and even Neuer display this annoying phenomenon.

Does feel like there's currently an emphasis on a 'keeper's ability to play out from the back rather than whether they're any good at stopping shots or catching crosses.

bookies must be loving this WC.

Spain never looked like troubling the scoreboard after the fluke goal they scored, it's 100+ minutes of side ways passing taunting the Russians to leave their zone, the Russians never took the bait. I thought our possession football were poor this year, the Spanish just took it to another level.

Croatia and Brazil

Every time i look at that bottom half i pick a different finalist. Russia have home advantage, Croatia have got the defence, Sweden have a brilliant team ethic, the Swiss have a good balanced team with a couple of flair players, Colombia could turn up like Brasil, or Arsenal, and England have youth and Kane.

Aye, England looks like the wild card this time around. I'd argue that Croatia has the midfield and defense because for some reason Lovren plays better for his country it seems

Neymar getting the plaudits for his goal, but Willian was the player that made it happen.

Ond of the great joys in life is to see prima donnas like Ronaldo and Neymar cry with disappointment.

If he cries like that, imagine the performance Neymar put on when he had those tattoos

Neymar is a f**king disgrace. It was idiotic from the Mexican to that but he applied absolutely no pressure on Neymar's ankle.

I wish somebody would give Neymar something to actually cry about. If he ever played in the Premier League, he wouldn't survive past the first game.
